I cannot, for the life of me, get the different models to work with an uploaded skin. Even trying one of the example skins provided in the OP ends in disappointment. Changing the skin in the F6 menu changes the model, but Player Skin is always the default model. Back items still display properly.
Anyone else experienced this? I'm running FTB, however I do have GregTech disabled as I'd read there are some incompatibilities.
On a whim, I disabled Portal Gun. It works automagically. Good thing I don't use Portal Gun.
Just ran into the exact same problem. I'd rather have this than Portal Gun, but is there any kind of fix / config option solution for either mod?

I to have run into the problem of not being able to dance/hug/sit/lie down. These/This are/is the reason(s) I got this mod, is there any idea why this won't work? I do use Forge and Smart Moving.

It's kinda buggy when playing with Smart moving mod. It works but my character keeps facing one direction when I'm actually facing the other one. but well. no one can expect it to be perfect. nice mod btw
Okay so I'm using this for tekkit so I need 1.2.5 version. I got it but and it's working I can dance and hug and etc. but I can't change my model. It says sending server commands enabled. Sorry if this has already been answered or asked or if I'm just a noob.
So I've run into the strangest glitch with this mod. When I get hit by an arrow (whether it be from skeletons or other players), if two or more are stuck to me, I get some horrendous slowdown while looking with F5. This also affects the inventory screen in survival/adventure modes as well. My FPS drops to about 7-8, and the MultiMC console constantly spams this in the console log:

I'm not using any other mod that alters the player model. This seems to only affect me when I'm using F5 to view my model in third person mode, which explains why the inventory screen causes the extreme slowdown as well. Looking in first person mode, I'm absolutely fine.
Some screenshots showing what happens during this time:
Mods used:
-More Player Models 1.4.5
-TooManyItems 1.4.4
-Rei's Minimap 1.4.4
-MatMos 1.4.5
-MatMos expansion 1.4.2 (this is working just fine despite being made for 1.4.2)
-Optifine 1.4.5 Standard edition
-Forge 6.4.0.397 (I've used an earlier version for 1.4.4, and the same thing happened)
-MinecraftFriendz mod
This is one of two mods that I use, the only other being Optifine. In fact whenever Minecraft updates I cannot look at my avatar in third person mode. I use the elf skin model and the default one just looks too squat and short to me haha.
Please keep up the great work I'm surprised that this mod doesn't get more attention.

As you see i have a bug here. I use Smart Moving, More Player Models and Improved First Person View but as you see at the 4th picture it do not looks the direction i look or the others i see my head while looking down. Its terrible... You must fix it (Dont know why incompatible with them smart moving + improved first person works fine but after more player models it becomes like that also when using improved first person view and more player models).
i dont get how to change my skin in different models i read the skinning guide but I have no idea what it all means!
Basically, when it tells you to put a pixel at (0,0,0) or wherever, that's according to the top left of the image (the space of the skin that is not used for the textures). When it calls for color (x,y,z), it's according to the RGB format. So a color of 128,128,128 will be a gray color. You may need another image editor like GIMP or paint.net for this (although McSkinEdit or McSkin3D will work just fine for this) to get these colors right (not sure if MS Paint will work).
So for example, say you want to use the normal, default furry male model that's smaller than the default model, the top left pixel would be (128,128,128) to enable the mod to work, (0,0,128) to load up the furry male model (place this one right beside the top left pixel), and (0,0,255) to resize the model to be smaller than the normal model.
#1/#2/#3
This would be something how the setup would look from the top left. I hope this helps. It really does help to keep the skinning guide open when you make these skins, else you may get confused and forget what color goes where.
