I'm sure a lot of people have made the connection that there another furniture mod out there that's just like this one, so I want to know: How is this mod better than Jammy's Furniture Mod?

I wouldn't say one is better than another because we have different stuff but one thing I think is better is the couches from my mod. Mine will extend to how ever you place it. Where as jammys, you have to craft each piece of the couch individually for example, to create a corner couch, you have to craft it differently. To create the center of the couch, you have to craft it differently again. As for mine, you just craft one block and it changes to where ever you put it. I could go on more but I think you get the idea. The only real way is to try out each mod which I think you should do.
Mr Crayfish
where is your config file?the crash didn't give me any config file
The crash doesn't generate it. It generates on load. Look in the folder .minecraft/config/, If you can't find that, I don't think you should be installing mods.
Wonderful mod, can't say how much life this adds to everything inside.
Things I Like:
-More interesting ways of storage and though the oven is costly (it's overshadowed by the Calefactor from Ars Magica) it looks amazing, holds tons and works extremely fast and doesn't require any fuel.
-HEDGES ARE THE BEST THING EVER. Along with some of the goodies from Twilight Forest, the hedges allow me to make really cool tree houses and stuff of that sort.
-Can do something with Rotten Flesh
Things I don't like:
-For the requirement of TWO chests, the cabinets seem to hold less than ONE chest
-I can't place anything on tables or coffee tables (I play in SMP so that might be the problem?)
-Nothing can be placed on carpet so anything you can see under looks a bit weird
Suggestions:
-Make Curtains and Blinds dynamic like your sofas so that they change with more near them. (Different colors to maybe? Blueblueblue!) This would be cool with cabinets too. Bedside cabinets could stack and elongate to make chest-of-drawers!
-Mailboxes can "send" items to other players mailboxes
-A stand-up 2x4 closet that can hold armor sets
-Hanging lighting like chandeliers, ceiling fans and other things of the sort
Also, does a water tap do anything? I played around and couldn't get mine to do anything so I was wondering if they were just for looks.
AWESOME MOD!!! I just want another 1 thing..... I can put some thing on carpets
Unfortunately not. Anyway they are being removed in 1.6 due to Mojang adding carpets into the actual game. They also cannot have stuff be placed on them.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Duplicate id: Fridge

This is a new one for me... happens if I try to run your furniture mod next to rbdycks' mod_kitchens.
unfortunately... even when i change the ID in your config to something else, same error... seems like the hard-coded id is also something that may now conflict...
running FML 662
[edit] Fixed myself by using a hex-editor and changing the itemname "Fridge" in "com/mrcrayfish/furniture/MrCrayfishFurnitureMod.class" to "MCFrdg".
This is something that all mod-developers should start doing, prefix your 'itemname' in code with your developer handle. We did this while modding ES4, FO3, FONV, ES5, etc... and never ran into these types of problems. As more and more blocks start being implemented and probably for items this will hold true too, we're going to get conflicts not only on itemID's and blockID's, but itemnames as well...

Make sure you have latest optifine installed
Its because it doesn't. The texture sare ripped from the graphics already in the game thus adding texture pack support for any texture pack.
Finally I could play your mod.Since you fix my problem, what do you want?I hope it's something I could do
I'm gonna have to wait until I update to 1.5.1...
In Minecraft.net where you downloaded the client
I am epic.
No problem. All I want you to do is enjoy my mod.
I should have updated it earlier.
Unfortunately not. Anyway they are being removed in 1.6 due to Mojang adding carpets into the actual game. They also cannot have stuff be placed on them.
Sorry, didn't realize that optifine had a new version.
