TBH, I'm not sure that its ATG, since I crashed without it. Could it be any of these?

I'm using Mo Creatures, Extra Biomes XL, Optifine, and ATG with Ruins, and they all play nicely in 1.6.2. ATG must have the appropriate hooks because it properly pulls from the biome folders when generating the Ruins. I've had issues in the past with mods that knock down entire trees such as Treecapitator/Timber!/Lumberjack, so I would try turning that off first. Not sure about the rest.

I figured it out. Turns out I had added the mods incorrectly. So they all work now.

EDIT: I did notice something though: are items supposed to appear in the chests in ruins. I found quite a few and none had items.
Read the default template file, the section on chests, and then look at some templates with chests. You will see the problem.
[ Nobody has filled the chests in templates with anything ]
You are free to just use the Hooks to fill them automatically. If you post the hooked templates, i'll even make them the new defaults.
Is it real to make support for Biomes' o Plenty biomes? If it so, please say, what should I do.
It's actually quite easy. Just go into the mods/resources/ruins folder and you'll see a folder for each biome the game registers. Open the vanilla biome folders and copy the templates for any structures you want to spawn in the BOP biomes either into a specific folder for one of the BOP biomes or into the generic folder to make it spawn in all of them.
Just keep in mind that unless you want to see the same structures appear constantly you need to have a large number of templates in your folders. That was made very clear to me when I was testing my above ground ore deposit templates.

What templates are you using? If they're putting in all vanilla blocks I don't see why they wouldn't spawn. But if you made them with mod added blocks and then used MCEdit to make schematics for the converter, it won't process mod added block IDs and you'll have to manually add those in yourself.
Look at the ruins_log.txt file that spawns in your mods folder. If Ruins is having a problem spawning the structures, that's where it'll tell you exactly what the problem is.
I set up "resources" folder for compatiblity with "Biomes O Plenty", but I'm newbie and don't know how to upload it here, so, If anyone want that folder, just told me how to deliver it for you.

This, and yes the names of the folders should either be exactly the same or very similar to the name you see when you hit F3.

Are you sure the Savanna biome generator is calling the FML generateSurface hook
