Ah. Then in that case, it might just be bugged is all. I tested the last version of EBXL on 1.3.2 and it worked just fine.
Nvm, for some reason, when i search for FIR or FIR SAPLING in the creative menu, i can't find, but if i look at the plants and decoration i can see it there. Anyways, i was using normal pine saplings xD

I'm using the TreeFeller, and as the fir log is a custom log, i need to add it in the config file to be able to cut it.
Ah. Okay, go to your config folder, then to the extrabiomes folder and you'll have a .cfg file in there that has all of the ID's for ExBL in it. Just look for anything that has log in it's name and copy and paste it's ID into the TreeFeller .cfg file.
I know exactly what alpha is, but also isn't it meant to bring these issues up so you know they can be fixed
precisely what betas are for, yes.
anyway, i noticed after adding the IDs of the logs from extrabiomes to treefeller's config, they never drop more than one log, not sure what's going on here as it dropped the correct amount before 1.4.2 with treefeller.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.

Probably just a bug.
I don't know why, but it seems like a lot of issues that people have run into today quite possibly could've been potential bugs. Either I am just making assumptions about stuff being bugs too much, ( ), or the change between 1.2.5 to 1.4.2 and 1.3.2 to 1.4.2 wasn't exactly the smoothest thing to do for mod makers, which makes sense with the whole LAN server switch for single player.
lol yeah, i'm sure it is just a bug, i really more suspect treefeller but i wanted scott and fiber to be aware of it too.

probably, but who knows, i knew not putting "just in case" on the end of that sentence was a mistake

I just figure that, when you have a mod that is designed to cut whole trees down and has the ability to be configured to work with blocks from a different mod, if you ran into an issue like that, it would be happening to TreeFeller itself, not the blocks of one specific mod. But I guess reporting it to both mod makers never hurt either.
EDIT: Also, hooray for 8,600 posts! Not that it's a very special milestone like 10,000.
i did say both, check the treefeller topic to see the report i made there also.

i used to, honestly can't play without a tree reality insertion mod, but the whole extra durability uses (you're still only cutting one log, the rest of the tree just isn't violating gravity) and the fact that you need an addon instead of being able to add log IDs is quite a deal killer is all.

Am I being stupid or are the custom flowers not generating in the latest release? They appear in the creative inventory and are placeable in-world, but they do not seem to spawn. Have their spawn conditions changed?

Hah. Yeah, that may explain it as well.
(Whispers "I'm not actually dead, I'm just in hiding and watching you all...)
Hey, you know how to see the logs id(the ones from this mod)? I need to add it in the cfg of another mod.
Yeah, it does. I'm not sure what it is then. Sorry.
Why would you need to add the log ID's of ExBL to another mod's config file?

I'd think that would be a problem with TreeFeller though(?)

When we upgraded from 1.3.2 to 1.4.2, we changed very little code. And none in the logs.
It would appear we are accelerating!
