The Seasons Mod has been updated! This mod adds the four seasons to Minecraft; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter!
Most of the features in this mod are configureable, so if you don't want it or want to modify it, go to your config folder in your .minecraft directory.

All the rainstorms in Summer will be Thunderstorms. Instead of snowing, it'll only rain in snowy biomes, although, they wont defrost. Another thing, Wheat shall grow 1.5x faster than any other season! If you're in the desert biome, and not protected/under a roof, every time interval, you'll be hurt randomly. The rain will destroy most of the grass generated from Spring. Also, along with Spring, it will defrost the ice/snow generated from Winter in non-snowy biomes. Lastly, days are longer and nights are shorter(disabled).
Grass and Leaves have a modified colour to fit Autumn Secondly, flowers' (Red/Yellow) textures have been modified to fit the colour of the grass in Autumn. Lastly, you'll get bonus Wheat whilst harvesting.
It's always snowing in Winter, except in the Desert biome and in the Nether. Secondly, in Winter, the temperature is really low, especially in cold biomes such as Taiga, Tundra and Ice Deserts, so don't stay out too long, you'll get frostbite. To warm you up in such occasions, just put on full leather armor. Lastly, days are shorter and nights are longer(disabled).
As you can see, you may get the green siding of the Autumn grass even though it is orange, this is because you are in "Fast," switch to "Fancy" to remove the green sidings. Lag too much? Try the OptiFine Patch!
Guys, quit buggin' about it. They are probably using the snap shots to update to, 1.3 has alot of changes, so they are getting prepared. Patience is a virtue.
Dammit! Got to this mod too late. Oh well. It must be hard to update mods so I'm not going to pester you about it. Notch hasn't been updating in a while so maybe the updates really are finished. But then again, you can never tell.

For some reason it rains in the plains biome even in winter, mods I am using alongside this are: Better than wolves and millénaire, and ofcourse modloader and modloaderMP. Not sure if this is a bug or if this was answered before in the thread so I apologise in advance, but I don't have any time at the moment
Its not just you. It always rains in the plains biome in winter. I used this mod without mods and i get the same thing. Its annoying because my house is in plains and i want to experience full winter >__<

EDIT: Well, it's working, at the expense of all my other mods for the moment . Oh well, I should be able to find old versions of them that are compatible.
I'll be honest here. I've been a lazy **** and haven't cared to update it.
I've done this for two reasons.
1. I'm in no way fluent in Java coding.
2. Trak has been the one updating/coding the mod(which he has now fallen silent on me).
And here's what I'm going to do about it:
I'm going to try and update it while looking at a bunch of tutorials, though I think I'll opt out quick, it's worth a shot. If anyone is willing to take over the mod, please contact me and I'll see if you look like the person to me that I think is responsible enough to have that extra weight on their shoulders.
I warn you now, maintaining and updating a mod is hard work. I will only be looking for people who have been active in Minecraft and on the forums, meaning a somewhat high post count is required, because I don't want to just shove it off to random people I don't know.
PM me if you think you got what it takes, meanwhile, I'll be frustrating myself to learn Java as fast as possible for you guys.
Again, I'm sorry I couldn't have said this earlier, I've just avoided the subject.

Maybe.
If I were you, I'd do exactly the same thing as you would, because I'd be you. Duh.
