That's much weirdness with it not saving like that. I hope you don't have amnesia and we end up doing this all over again tomorrow
Thankfully I'm not burdened with amnesia.
Probably my last post here, but like dawnofwar mentioned, grass doesn't seem to be moving unless the anisotropic filtering is turned on. Also, is rain supposed to look like this at night?
ive had a lot of the same problems as damashki (in particular the blackened water) and one more problem: when i am underground, and the sun sets or rises, i see the effects underground, no matter how deep, and it seems to be at random.
ill quote my post since it seems to be being ignored, anyone have any idea why this happens, or how to fix it? it happens to a certain degree with any shader i use, RC6, RC7, Kryppox, chocapics, everything.
You didnt see the edit. Im using RC7. When i use v08 i get a black screen and all the same text except it also says Not enough draw buffers! Requires 5. Has 4.

you know eskimo, flat out ignoring people when they are asking for help is really insulting and makes them not even want to bother trying to use this.
went back a few pages and got the most recent update, went back a further 30 and havent seen anyone with this issue.
ive posted my specs, screens, and i dont know what else to do, ive messed with every in game setting there is, and nothing fixes this. its a game ruining experience for me. this will be my last post if i dont get some sort of reply, and i will likely just give up on shaders entirely, which is not something i want to do as i really like them - until i go underground.

I have had the same issue all the way up until i tried the newest optifine version to load glsl. Not sure if it was that or the new shaders though

WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!
Oh I'm so very sorry, I didn't realise I was legally obliged to answer every question that's asked on here, and that I'm the only capable or allowed to answer. Also you posted that little rant at 6am GMT guess what, not everyone lives in Americaland.
Use shaders, don't use shaders, throw your computer out of the window, makes no difference to me.
considering that youve been pretty much the only person answering questions from anyone for the last several pages, i thought you would be the person who knew what might be going on here, but evidently i was wrong, so i will wait for someone who knows how not to be excessively rude and actually wants to help me with my problem instead of showing off how much of a jackass they can be. i wont be speaking to you again, so have a good day.
now if anyone BESIDES eskimo has any input to my problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
well im all up to date, and its still happening. any advice on settings maybe?

I've been having another look through this post and have tried changing the chunk loading as suggested to get the grass moving, but to no avail! Even editing the gbuffers_terrain.vsh so that the grass and leaves mc_entity are the same isn't working like it has done on the chocapic shaders. Although I've just realised what that does so no wonder it doesn't... any ideas? Or is it just because the beta shaders for 1.5.2 don't like amd cards?
Grass waving didn't work with chunk loading on SMOOTH in GLSL Preview 1.45, 1.45.1, and 1.45.2.
I read a few pages back that there might be a new glitch where Anisostropic Filtering needs to be turned on to get stuff to wave.
Luckily, AF is not very resource demanding, as opposed to AA which would kill even the best of cards being that all effects are drawn real-time!

You sir are an arrogant something that I can't say here...
Don't expect any help from me either, sorry dude.
If you want to be so arrogant, you'd best smarten up, and figure out an answer to your question yourself.
Wow ... people like you make people like myself and Eskimo that do our best to help people, on our own time, unpaid, just because we care about the community, and are kind enough to share just want to walk away. No care for others what-so-ever...man alive!

Eskimo, I got your back dude.
i did, and it was a very simple answer, which made me slightly more confused as to why he had helped 3 other people while ignoring my original post. but it matters not. didnt need your or his help, and i wont be coming here for anything else, i can assure you of that.
and when i saw someone tell 3 other people things to try that end up providing nothing, over multiple posts, when he could have helped me with a single sentence, i got a bit angry. excuse me for being human and reacting as most do.
How do I in V10 RC7 SEUS, to give a lens flare like V10 RC6?
In addition, V10 RC7 is the dark water depth is deeper, but is there a way to improve this?
Hey everyone, kind of curious if anyone else is having issues with either the GLSL Shaders or SUES? I'm having issues with blocks not loading and everything being see through as shown in the pics. It's on and off and there seems to be no consistency when the blocks become "invisible". Anyone know why or a fix for this?
not sure if PC specs matter but I have a AMD FX 6100, GTX 660 2gb and 64 bit Win8. I also have allocated extra RAM to minecraft.
It's not, but it greatly reduces the look of the shaders. I'll just cope with it not working until an update is released, its nothing major just slightly annoying now I've realised it actually waves! It doesn't work on any of the shaders I try though, yet it does work on all the shaders my friend tried, so what it really is I don't quite know.
The only other thing I remember people talking about is the texture pack itself..
I can't recall if it was related to grass waving, or wheat/leaves waving..
Anyways, some TPs in 1.5.X don't have the necessary textures to make the waving effect. You can modify the pack, download one that is already modified, or use another one that is working.
Try summerfields for example, I know that one works, and Eskimo uses it (highly loved by those who do use it).
I would think the default texture would have in 1.5.x as that's what they showed off as part of the update wasn't it? And that doesn't explain why turning on anisotropic filtering enables the grass/fire/whatever else the shaders selected make move in the default texture pack. But I shall give summerfields a go and if it works then I wont really have anything to complain about!
EDIT:Which it does, but you can tell its the texture pack that's providing the waving and not the actual shaders, but I'll survive! Thanks for the help!
LOL, yeah, I have no idea!
I just listen, and repeat, and try to help others!
You would think the default TP would work (it did in 1.4.7) .. but I guess it is in the way the textures are loaded by GLSL. It was the only way they could get normal/bump/parallax mapping working I think..
Ok, hi, if possible I would just like to get a few things clarified.
I'm having a few issues with SEUS at the moment. Mostly, it's an awesome shader pack and runs completely fine, but there's just a few things I can't figure out.
The biggest one is probably the water texture/shader. I've seen screenshots and videos of a epic pale blue transparent water textures. Mine is completely clear. It has no colour whatsoever, it still has the ripple/wave effects on the surface but otherwise its very hard to see, I often walk into waterfalls or in little pools because I can't see them. Is this a simple fixable option or just a bug I am experiencing?
The other big one is that my Sphax Pure BDcraft texture pack doesn't not work with SEUS. It will black screen on start-up or just crash if I try to change texture packs in-game. This is for all resolutions of that texture pack. All other texture packs work fine. Is this common and is there solution?
The only other thing is that my trees wave and shake, but the grass and the wheat are dead still. I think I read somewhere above that anisotropic filtering turned on allows it to be seen, and that its not meant to be that way.
Other than these things it's a brilliant pack.
Sorry if these questions have been asked but I don't really want to sift through 774 pages of arguments to find the answer.
And help would be appreciated, thanks.

My pc has a pentium d 2.6ghz 3 gigs of ram and a radeon x1550 512mb with win 7 home.
When i used Naelego's Cel Shaders the fps was in the single digits and black lines every where. Other shader packs is like this pic but black instead.
Im using RC7
what are the chances for Mac support in v9? :|

how rude.
tbh, SEUS has some great water shaders which is the main reason I would like to use it
Sildur's shaders are the ones I'm using now, but his newest version seems more like a step back (no offense to him)
I thought about Chocapic's shaders, but I prefer to avoid tampering with my minecraft.jar directly

I don't suppose I can ask Sonic Ether himself, I have yet to see him post in this thread as of late...

EDIT: Ahhh, found it! Read the 2nd and 3rd post on page 99..
