I have updated the Help Wanted section. I am now taking suggestions for a feature that will soon be in the mod. Check it out if you want to suggest something for it.

Villagers will soon have special abilities that are unique to their profession. What should a profession's special ability/abilities be?
The professions needing special abilities are:
Farmer
Librarian
Smith
Butcher
Guard
Baker
Miner ".
The farmer could work on the fields generated in the NPC villages. He sells Wheat
The librarian could write books and boroow them for a bit of iron or something (in the next Minecraft-Version you will be able to write books, maybe this one does, too...)
The smith will repair a weapon you give them and will take a piece of iron or something for it. The enchantment will not be removed.
The butcher will search for animals, get them to the village with wheat from the farmers and slaughter them for meat. He sells meat.
The guard protects the other villagers against mobs and, if the player attaks a villager too often, also the player.
The baker will make bread out of the wheat from the farmers. He sells bread.
The miner will build small houses (entrance of a mine)at the side of a mountain, or a little bigger one on flat land, and dig a mine there. He sells stone ald somethig found in the mine. He should also detect ore blocks and mine them on his own.

What if you accidentally are hitting the villagers?
If you want the villagers to gather resources and build houses, try Millenaire.

Okay, I actually agree with the profession-only-trade. It would be nice to see that Bakers only sell bread and cake, Farmers sell wheat, hoes, and seeds, blacksmiths sell iron armor, etc.
By the way, what minecraft are you using xD? Millenaire works, although I don't use it because I just like the original look of the villages.

It's installed incorrectly or you're using a 3rd party launcher. FAQ tells you this. Try installing using the installer.

Make sure there's a config folder in your minecraft folder. If there isn't you've installed the mod incorrectly.

#1 Whenever you procreate you have chance to have Twins! (They are an item with boy/girl girl/girl and boy/boy twins and they will look alike if they are the same gender (Differing clothing of course) )
#2 Toddlers! instead of being a child when they grow they will be toddlers! (You can change this in world options) Toddlers will need CARE (You can ask your spouse to help) When the child crys it needs food kind of care (Plain toddlers are fine though)
#3 Cribs! Instead of making your spouse hold the kid or holding it yourself (the Risk of losing the kid in a cave/zombie raid is reduced)
Put it in a crib (You could make a 3D model of the crib with/without the child)
#4 If you die while your kid is small you become the kid (You become an adult soon and the only change is your not as big as an adult and when you talk to your "spouse" they talk about you mom/dad (you) And when you grow up you can remarry) (Kind of like the hardcore thing only you can be the child not just the adult)

Is there an MCA folder inside of your config folder? Are you using a 3rd party launcher? MCA is very...flaky on Mac.
Oopsy sorry i was not paying attention If you hit librarians they throw books at you instead of punching!
Hmmm, how about villager children can spawn naturally? And maybe they will have random parents, like when villagers procreate?
Also, please have grandchildren know you! I hate it when my granddaughter says:
"You look funny."

"I don't wanna talk to you, you're scary!"

Just don't open the world after you update. Install MCA before opening the world that they're in.

Make sure there's a config folder in your minecraft folder. If there isn't you've installed the mod incorrectly.
There is but it still isn't working
#1 Whenever you procreate you have chance to have Twins! (They are an item with boy/girl girl/girl and boy/boy twins and they will look alike if they are the same gender (Differing clothing of course) )

Feature #1:
Villagers will soon have special abilities that are unique to their profession. What should a profession's special ability/abilities be? They need to be beneficial to the player, and not include building anything. Suggestions that I like are listed below, please post unique suggestions.

Is there an MCA folder inside of your config folder? Are you using a 3rd party launcher? MCA is very...flaky on Mac.
