a way to transfer lava from the nether to overworld would be appreciated too. i have a huge lava farm in the nether and a massive need to get it to the overworld faster than buckets allow. maybe a barrel item that can hold 5-10 buckets of liquid per barrel? That would be cool.
I would be useful, but the nether has a crazy amount of lava. it'll have to either be an expensive automated method or and inefficient manual method (buckets) to keep the game balanced

I'm a horrible person, so i use zombe's modpack item mod to adjust lava flows, so that you can make more source blocks the same way as water. infinilava!

i'm fine with expensive or just a bucket that holds maybe three bucket loads instead of only 1
Don't forget you can pump lava in the overworld... All those huge lava lakes, at least 1 per 2 or 3 chunks... That'll give you quite a big supply of lava. Big enough for anything I can think of at least.
How do you pump lava into the overworld?

MFW people still don't get the grammatical significance of the mod's name:

IMO, BTB will update soon, as Forge and buildcraft have released 1.2.5 versions. The fact that modloadermp isn't needed might slow the process down, but this is only a guess.
Even though I am no longer directly involved with the process, it likely will, yes. The removal of ModloaderMP is quite a radical change, and will likely require quite extensive modification to BTB to get it working properly again.
Yes I thought as much. I didn't think the actual removal would be a problem, but the fact that the functionalities provided by ModloaderMP were integrated into Forge probably means quite a lot of work on those files.
Yeah, that's the thing. BTB largely functions by providing replacements for Forge functionality so that BC can work without it. This is relatively easy because BC uses so little Forge functionality to begin with.
The thing is, through removing ModloaderMP, BC becomes much more dependent on the Forge all of a sudden. Thus, the amount of Forge functionality that needs to be supported by BTB increases dramatically.
I'm personally not aware of all the details that will be involved, but I honestly feel quite bad about having turned BTB over to Gil at this particular juncture. My goal was to turn it over at a point which would minimize the update hassles involved (which is why I updated it to 1.2.3 myself before the hand-off), but it now looks like this has backfired quite epicly, as this will probably be one of the worst update cycles yet due to the ModloaderMP thing.

You could always give him a hand here and there until this update is out. As you said. This is quite the drastic change in the mods functionality. If I knew anything about coding I would offer my assistance as this is one of the best mods out there IMO.(Rather BTW I haven't tried BTB yet)
That having been said, Sorry if this has been answered before. Do you need BTW installed to run BTB? I saw that you don't need buildcraft.

Same way you pump it in the nether.

So true
Nice one!
This never gets old

Nice Doggy?
Also worth noting, is that the Forge didn't update to 1.2.5 until yesterday, so BC couldn't update until this point either.
