I have some of chickenbones mods installed, just installed the ChickenChunks this morning and on initial server load it threw this error... I'm guessing it probably has something to do with spigot and forge having the server tick crash the other day. Does anyone have any info or help on this? Here's the crash log:
I'm having a problem. I do have a working Forge installed, and with only ccc and NEI, minecraft crashes about five to ten seconds after the launcher disappears. I have Mac OS X Mountain Lion installed. The FML log is here: http://pastebin.com/TYsWhKjw. If anybody could help me figure out what's wrong with it, it would be much appreciated. -cgm616
Got this crash with the 1.7.2 version of NEI/CodeChickenCore when initializing the mod at startup - http://pastebin.com/kd2UqrT5 Using Forge 10.12.0.1047 - no other mods are installed.
I got the exact same thing. Did the applet open, wait a few seconds, then close and show the launcher again? I have no idea what's causing it, and I have the latest version of forge and java. There is one other person who also has this problem, and I'm using a mac and so are they. This might be a connecting issue...?
I too am having this same error. The launcher (1.3.11) is running, will try to run the game, and then will crash with exit code 1. I am running 1.7.2, Forge 1047

I think I am having the same issue as everyone else. Using the latest version of forge, When i launch the game, CB's DepLoader goes to downloading file, and then tells me it cannot load the files. gives me a link to download it manually link doesn't work.
What i DID notice was that there seems to be a double backslash after the World Core which isn't a proper HTTP address. However if you take it out, the link STILL doesn't work. HOW EVER... If you type in the following: http://files.minecraftforge.net/WorldCore/
The page will load and you can get the worldcore file. BUT. Unless there is a way to skip the download when you start up, it still gets stuck and doesn't load, even though I have the worldcore file.

Its actually not a bug so much as a Syntax error. The link where ever it is in the mod is typed incorrectly, therefore the mod cannot find it, and cannot download it. And the reason why the link you get thrown when it finds this error doesn't work. Same reason. one too many backslashes. And even if you do get to the page, because the mod STILL looks for the file to download and finds the incorrect web address, it still crashes out. If I could find where the link is in the mod, Id edit it myself. Instead, we'll have to wait for Chicken bones to do it for us.
I keep getting an error with the recently updated CodeChickenCore everytime I try to start MC it gives me an error message saying that WorldCore needs to be installed and that mod hasn't been updated in 5 months and isn't up to date with 1.7.2. I a little over 70 mods for minecraft and so far all of them have worked just fine with eachother until I downloaded the two most recently updated mods which is CodeChikenCore and NEI for 1.7.2...Having looked above it is only a syntax error the only problem is it goes to an older version of WorldCore for 1.6.4 since this mod hasn't been updated in 5 months

I know where the link is (and so does other people) I clicked on the link and I edited the link on the web and the actual link goes to this site: http://files.minecra....net/WorldCore/ Unfortunately the link goes to an older version of WorldCore 1.6.4
Edit: Ok disregard everything I said...
My solution to the problem I had was I downloaded the WorldCore-universal-1.6.4-1.1.0.17.jar and I renamed it to WorldCore-universal-1.7.2-1.1.0.17.jar and it was fixed hope this helps everyone else who has had this similar problem.
Hey CB - I'm using 1.7.2 and noticed that there is no server files now (to set options so only admins can heal; and all players can set time to morning, etc?)
d/load copy/rename didn't work for me it just reports that it couldn't read from the jar and deletes it then crashes. ok its copying it into a sub dir 1.7.2, then crashing, so i don't think that its right, it appears that you can't just d/load rename and copy it. it errors. I take it , NEI and chickencore out and it all works.. anyone else having problems or is it just me

I'm having the same issues with 1.7.2, there's no WorldCore for 1.7.2 and a rename doesn't work. I don't know how chicken_bones is able to get it working to rc without the WorldCore.
I'm nit having a crash problem, but cheat mode doesn't allow me to cheat in items. No matter what mode NEI is in, only the Use and Recipe functions works. Enchant mode is also nonfunctional.

You're locked in recipe mode. While in-game go to your inventory screen and hit the options button down on the bottom left and hit the inventory button. Now hit that global button in the upper right corner and un-check that highlighted "W" you see by the cheat mode (a right click on it will do)
Sorry for all the troubles all the Mac users seem to be having It all works fine and dandy on my PC, wish I could help but have never had a Mac

I tried installing the latest (not recommended) version of forge, and that still doesn't work. This is really weird.
I've found out how to fix the NEI crash for mac:
Basically, PC uses java 7 in minecraft, while the mac minecraft uses java 6 for some reason. To fix this all you have to do is change the java 6 exec path to your java 7 exec path, ie:
Before
After
example text: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_51.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java
(if you want to use the example text, please install java JDK 7u51 at http://www.oracle.co...ds-1880260.html under Java SE Development Kit 7u51)
otherwise, you can change the jdk1.7.0_51.jdk part of the example text to the folder name of the folder in /Macintosh HD/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/ and then paste the the text into the Executable part of the profile editor.

Thanks dude. It totally works. I thought it had something to do with using a mac, and I guess I was right. I didn't know about the java stuff though.

Our solution was to modify Biomes o Plenty which is what is making CCC try to look for the file in the first place. Once we modified BOP, NEI works just fine. Sadly though we're having to use a less than current Version of BOP to do it. But that has nothing to do with NEI or CCC.

Edit: Both versions 1.3.3.3 and 1.3.3.4 are causing the crash just so you know.
Block Ids no longer exists in 1.7.2. So you won't see a config for them

I'm hoping it's a feature that's coming? Thanks
Same as all the above, also on MAC.
