for some reason i cannot craft the woodman's axe and the t2 crucible, i put the ingredients in the crafting bench exactly like the recipe shows, but nothing happens. anybody else having this problem.
Is there any way of finding which mobs give vis crystals?? Been killing mobs for a while and so far the only crystal i got was from one of those flying vis crystals for which i got an electriffied one :smile.gif: Thanks
Those, and occasionally a vis slime if they're big enough. Unfortunately the "flavored" ones don't work in the recipes and seem to be quite a bit more common than normal from wisps. The flavor however is related to where you find them, so try different biomes to get different types.
As for Vis near an altar... Setting up a few condensers in that space and removing the Altar seems to work faster than elsewhere. Can't really prove it though.
this mod is amazing! I wish there were more mods like this but alas. Btw do you think you could make a talisman that could repair items but at the cost of vis crystal(depending on the material used to craft said item)?

Hrmm, well that picture you show is correct for the crafting table. Also distilled souls IS the correct potion. I'm not sure (since you tried souls) why you wouldn't show an output for the Traveling Trunk.
Two things I can think of maybe. Do you have a craftguide or recipe book? Those will at least show you the recipe and if it's installed correctly. Also, it does require TIMBER not PLANKS so be sure you've infused your planks.

FYI, Everyone BE CAREFUL if you try cutting a IC2 rubberwood tree. I uh.....Total Blocks went up 2100 and my fps crashed to 1!? I was able to get total particles down to under 2000 before they de-res'ed. I imagine some could cause a crash by doing this, so caution.
-Maybe add a cap on blocks broken with the axe? maybe limit to under 500 lol?
Azanor, it's me again with yet another idea: How about you make portable minecart crucibles? It would act as the thaulmic crucible (because overflow with a moving cart would be weird.) It would be made like this

It would work exactly like a crucible and would be able to go down the track and transfer Vis along to nearby nodes or items.
What portable nodes and conduit are for. Can always carry a crucible of eyes around with you or just setup a basic one linked to a node near each portal. Conduit can fill nodes reasonably far away, more so if you have nodes spaced regularly along the way.
alos plz make the trunks/chests when die drop a sorta souless version of them? so then you have to infuse it with a soul to get it workign again because you know how hard it is to get eldrich wood (i learnt the secret of the tree the hard way hehe that was annoying) and it will be annoying finding a new elstrich tree and managing to cut it down
and heres another how bout also when you look inside the trunk/chest it showed a bar with the same liquid in the soul potion and have that so when it hurt it falls and when its healed rise (short version practically add a health bar into its gui that looks like the distilled souls liquid from the potion)
What's the best way to get "flavored" vis crystals? It seems like wisps hardly spawn at all, even in the "magic" chunks, and when I do find one more often than not it'll just drop a normal vis crystal.

So there I was, knee deep in cobblestone for the fifth time that day...
Awesome Mod! I Just about managed to get a legit portal up and working, but if there is no portal with the same networker on it, my game Crashes. so if i have a portal with an iron Rune, and another portal with a diamond rune, and there are no other portals, my game just "Saves Chunks". Then when i logged back in, Guess what, NO SOUND! could u fix/look in to this? x64 for the mod tho.
Are you using the latest version of my mod? And could you post an error log? That crash is really not supposed to happen.

I managed to make a talisman of void but I dont know how to make it in different flavors to go to my other transporting thingys.
I tried EVERYTHING! Im not getting this. All I can make is the one when you fuse the void symbol with the charged talisman core and get the black talisman of void. What if I want iron? Or fire?
[on a second note] Something really cool happened to me when I was running through my links with a traveling chest following with me. I passed through them so many times and so fast that everything did this weird skip thing and suddenly I had TWO traveling chest and everything I had was doubled XD So then I cleaned one out and put more important things in it like diamonds and ect. And tried it again... didnt work... but I was so excited that I didnt realize I was carrying an unstabalized arcane singularity D: It went off once and my chest was fine but the room I was in was not.... I started laughing (close one) and clicked again to open the chest (with it still in hand) and then it killed my chest and sucked up my diamonds and...everything :sad.gif: and then killed me. T.T [Just a story I thought I would share]

Heh, sorry to take a few to respond. 2 hits for that tree. The first hit cleared the trunk about 9 blocks high and stopped. So, I built up under with dirt an took out the mid block from below. The entire tree went to blocks (minus leaves)! so ya, Total blocks went from 400 to 2600 instanty. lol
All lag aside, it's really a the only great way to get rid of those darn things.
Lastly, someone on YT wanted me to show building that Tesla coil I made. I also got the video a bit better with capture, yay.

Try putting a Talisman Core on an Altar. You can find those in larger obelisks sets (if you haven't already). The Altars, charge the talisman and can then be crafted to Health or Vigor.

No no I figured that out. Thats not my problem. Its AFTER I charge the talisman core. I want to know how to make a talisman of void with the different colors. You know, Iron, gold, redstone, ect... I tried a bunch of different combos but nothing is working.

Just right click with the talisman on the void symbol you want to link it to.
