is it possible for the forge version to be reobfuscated using the runtime obfuscation method (reobfuscate_srg.bat) for additional compatibility with future mc versions?
I did not know that existed, I guess it's something to look into, though.
I'm finding some bugs with the 1.5.1 version (at least one of them was mentioned here by someone already). I'll probably have a new version ready in a few days, just need to update some of the built-in mod support (mainly IC2/GregTech). It will handle errors when rendering items better, so where parts used to disappear or move to the side sometimes, things will draw correctly again. And using the keybind to open CraftGuide from an inventory will work again.

CraftGuide, recipe viewer with a scrollbar! (Resizable window, too, if you prefer playing with a smaller GUI scale and are tired of GUIs only occupying a tiny square in the centre)
Updated for new GregTech centrifuge and fusion reactor metadata values.
Added GregTech recipes for wiremill, bender, alloy smelter, assembler, canner.
Better handling of ItemStack render errors: Properly cleans up OpenGL matrix stack if an exception is thrown during rendering.
Probably should be 1.6.6.1, but since it fixes some significant bugs and adds a bit of content, giving it a version of 1.6.7 should be more visible.
Tried to use reobfuscate_srg.bat for Forge version. Don't know how well it worked out, and I haven't integrated it into my automated build script yet, so it is very much an experimental feature.

thank you sir i shall install and report back ASAP! ...
everything works really well expect for a fps drop of 23fps when in use, but it doesnt seem like too big of an issue to me
I'm not sure is it CraftGuide issue or Forestry one... Recipes work, but they are all mixed up - Carpenter shows Fermenter recipes, Squeezer shows Carpenter recipes, etc.

"Nothing is built upon rock: for all is built upon sand: but let each man build as if sand were rock". (Jorge Luis Borges, Evangelio Apocrifo)
Is there a blog post / wiki / forum post someplace that lists all the mods (with custom crafting "stations") that are either built in, or integrate with CraftGuide?
Forestries recipes for squeezers, carpenters etc I know appear.
But I don't see BuildCraft's Assembly table recipes - I don't know if this is a bug in my version of craft buide, buildcraft, or if I'd need an extra 'recipe' mode to list them - and/or if such a mod even exists for 1.4.7/1.5.1
Forestry and Railcraft add their recipes themselves (and Forestry currently uses the wrong metadata ID for the machines, so some of them display the wrong machine, and others don't display a proper machine at all).
Included in CraftGuide itself: Vanilla crafting; OreDictionary crafting; IC2 crafting; IC2 machines (macerator, compressor, extractor); IC2 scrapbox drops; Vanilla smelting; Forge metadata-sensitive smelting; GregTech machines (too many to count, including generators. Currently missing the plasma generator for the new fusion reactor output); BTW machines (not as many as GregTech, but still quite a few. Not tested in 1.5. At some point, needs an update to better reflect an old API change that allows BTW add-ons to add their own recipes for certain more unusual machines); BWR (a BTW server add-on) recipes; Vanilla furnace burn value tooltips; IC2 generator burn value tooltips (usually based on vanilla furnace value, though there are a few exceptions).
Not included in CraftGuide, from mods partially included: IC2 massfab amplifier tooltips; GregTech plasma generator outputs; probably a few other things.
Some mods which do not have any recipes included in CraftGuide (though it is possible that someone wrote a mod to add them): Railcraft and Forestry add recipes themselves; Buildcraft; Factorization; Thermal expansion; RP2 (alloy funace recipes were included in CraftGuide until Minecraft 1.4, disabled because I was unable to test whether they still worked, and haven't been re-added yet); Applied Energistics; Any of the Universal Electricity-based mods; Thaumcraft; TerraFirmaCraft; Metallurgy; and countless other mods that I have not used recently enough to remember or find in a folder full of old mods.

Could you make craftguide a bit like the achievement system?
Could you make it so that to make, for example: a chest, you have to make wood first.
or for example: to make an enchantment table, you have to craft a book (diamonds and obsidian are
naturally found).
I think this would make craftguide an exceptionally new experience.
I just wanted to comment THANK YOU SO MUCH for not forcing forge inclusion.
One of my favorite, and most used mods is Better than wolves and it doesn't play well with forge, or rather, play at all with forge
I have used Inventory Tweaks since 1.0(maybe before) and until 1.5 they've had a mod loader version. Now with a new dev, they are forcing Forge only install.
I appreciate the work you have done in keeping compatibility high!

I use a mix of Dokucraft The Saga Continues and JohnSmith, and create personalized textures for both. Some of my submissions can be found in the Dokucraft Customizer located http://www.minecraft...saga-continues/

Is Craft Guide Incompatible with any of the following mods I have installed alongside Craft Guide: Matmos, Optifine, Jukebox Reloaded, Forge, Better Animations Reloaded, & CoreChickenCore. After the Mojang screen, it goes black & doesn't load minecraft.
Is there a way that i can change the crafting guide id? (it mess' with one of my other mods so i can't see the book) I tried to change the id in the config folder but then my game crashes upon starting.
(quickcraft has an issue with another mod which I can't find which)
i do too when i open it, although it may be from the enormous amount of recipes that are there lol
