oh god, not thins link again, this just has a tone of snapshot downloads and is very dis organized >.< all the builds for forge just say snapshot not just 1.2.5 i can load up the server but when i put your mod in the mods folder the server crashes, i never thought i would see the day asking for help to install a mod

i have a small suggestion. Although any block will do for preventing a cart from going off the end of a track, i would find it interesting to find a station buffer as a build able object to terminate a track.
The railcraft train rails such as "train holding track" don't work on linked trains with from the trains and zeppelin mod. Even if they are linked with the crowbar. Not sure if this is a railcraft or trains mod bug (needs to be implemented in the railcraft api) so I guess I'll post this on both topics.

Odd, the way those tracks work is that they will remain powered until it detects no minecarts above the track. It will "reset" at that point and grab the next cart it detects. It may just be I need to increase the delay a bit, its currently set at 3 ticks.

yea because there is a significant gap between the hitbox and the actual trains in the train mod.

can there be a config option to set the power of the boarding and holding rails? Also, they will sometimes bug out and not launch the minecart. Now my setup is broken. A GUI would be even better.
EDIT: this was in 5.2.0, but until my friend desides to update the server, I can't test in the new version.

Setting it higher breaks trains and gui is not possible (crowbar already used to reverse the rail). If you need more boost, can you not just put a Powered Rail in front of it?

tried, the setup goes like this:
boarding rail, powered rail, slanted powered rail, elevator rails.
It just kinda pushes the minecart off and then the mincart just stops. It was working, but then something stopped working. tried replacing surrounding rails.
When I try to install the mod, I get this error message:

I can't seem to reproduce the issue. Built an elevator as you describe, one facing each direction. They all work perfectly. This was in SSP though.
I've got a problem whenever I try to put down any minecart, either those from steve's carts or the defaults. Only with RailCraft installed, the moment a cart is placed the whole thing crashes to desktop.

Side effect of the new collision code I suppose. Use an Elevator Track instead for the same functionality.
Additionally, you can disable the collision handler via the config to return to vanilla behavior.
