Oh, so sorry... forgot to add in another long time suggestion that I've always wanted. Can you possibly make the corn able to grow just like Sugar Cane or cactus does (3 blocks high)? That, would be awesome. All the other vegetables are good at their size, except for the corn, its just too short to grow any edible corn yet.

I suppose I could make corn at least two high, but right now all my crops work on a one block tile entity system, and I want to try to keep them all that way impending the 1.6 update. But, I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

Yeah, I hope to continue work on SwordCraftory again soon. The only mobs I'm working on right now are for FishCraftory. I'm using Techne for the first time, but I'm getting the hang of it I think.

EDIT: Now that I have duct-taped my head back on and repaired my roof, I truly beileve that fishcraftory will be the best mod to ever have been created. Will sharks and swordfish have legit 3d models? Anyway eels may be a challenge. Will the mobs be animated. And have you ever thought of adding new farm animals to farmcraftory such as goats and turkeys, or if maybe even(if my dreams manifest themselves) a kangaroo for some kangaroo steak..mmmmmm

It makes me happy to see someone excited. Here's a little status update for FishCraftory.
I'm going to try to have legit models for each fish, but it's going to take a LOT of work. I expect I will do batches of releases as I get more models/textures/rendering code completed. (Like, four or five fish mobs for each update). I already have the side fins animated, and I'm going to try to get the tail fin moving back and forth. The bigger fish might be more complicated, but I don't want to get too carried away with models just yet. It seems the more I work on them, the more I'm discovering how to do. I'm actually having a bit of fun. It doesn't look like it's too difficult to go back and edit a model either, so if something doesn't work quite right with the first release, I can always go back and change something.
As for other parts of the mod, I've already put a lot of work in the making the fish A.I. better utilizing the vanilla code (swimming, avoiding the player, mating, ect), but I still have a lot to do. Once I get to a comfortable point with the A.I., I might make a beta or "snapshot" release of just the fish mobs.
The fishing mechanics are coming along fine, but I've been having some issues with getting the Fishing bobber to render properly/smoothly for my rods. I'm getting a "Ticking Entity Error" when I register the bobber entity with Forge. I have a workaround, but it prevents me from rendering my own custom lures/bait like in the old version. If anyone has a clue for how to fix "Ticking Entities", let me know. Might have to see if 1.6 will fix it.
As for farm animals, there was an old idea I had to add proper genders to the existing farm animals. I even had some code written and working, but since I didn't know how to model (to make male and female versions of the animals), I never released it. I may return to it now. Beyond that though, I don't have anything planned.
I remembered playing a mod that added a bunch of fish and other farming stuff so I did a bit of searching to find your thread again. I didn't see your fishcraftory mod so I was going to post about it but then I read the last page. Very awesome that you are working on getting 3d models for the fish! Keep up the good work!

I just couldn't get to sleep tonight so instead, I worked on the update to 1.6.1! Had a few bumps here and there, but it wasn't as hard as I expected. Let me know if anything is not working like it should. Important to note, Forge does not have a "Recommended Version" yet so be aware things may break between now and their next update. I just wanted to get an update out early to see how everything worked. Since 1.6.1 uses the new launcher now, Forge released an easy installer.jar so I recommend using that. Look up the Installation section in the opening post for a guide to install Forge and the mods. I'm going to bed now, later.
I successfully installed all of them, though I encountered one bug. When using the blender, the gui is just a checkerboard of pink and black and you can't see where some of the buttons are.Otherwise though, great mod! I love it.

Thanks for the bug report. Gui textures are a bit screwy right now it seems. Like, my Eclipse works fine, but not in the official launcher. I'll look into it further after the next Forge update.

the pleasure is mine. i just want to know if this is smp compatible. i'd guess it is, but i just wanna make sure. i plan on using this mod and any other mods i find on a world, which i will play lan with my brother. so it would need to be smp.
