You could make differerent color parachutes. that would be cool. and good job. also you could make another parachute that is more circular, you can flare with jump and falls slowly down unless you move it.
Aww... i liked the armadillo mod, Still atleast the reptiles mod is still available :smile.gif: Love all of those mobs, Except now crocodiles already exist in mo' creatures :smile.gif:

When life gives you lemons, Throw them on the ground and go make apple juice instead.

yeah, mo' creatures mod is really nice. I'd recommend using that one over my reptile mod. I may re-work the armadillo mod and release it again.
The parachute mod looks REALLY cool. But its not working, I have looked for it in TMI, and tryed crafting it. Its not showing up! I installed it by dragging zip folder into mods folder. Didn't work. Same with MC jar. Can someone give me a detailed video for installation? Or a written guide? Thanks!
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it, but crafting recipe doesn't work. :sad.gif: Its so cool!

I'm using TMI and the parachute shows up and works. Also the crafting works for me, three wool, three string/silk. The mod should work the way you installed it. That's all that's required. I know that this mod works with TMI, but I don't know about compatibility with other mods.
Tried these out for the first time today. Reptile mod is pretty cool. You may want to reconfigure the way you've laid out the folder architecture though. Most mod users know where to put the sound files but a noob would be totally confused.
I'm not sure if the parachute mod works or not because when I have it installed I can't bring up my inventory. I'm not sure why it's doing this but I know it's directly connected to the parachute mod because I uninstalled and it was back to working fine...reinstalled it and couldn't access my inventory again. Is it possible this is some weird bug?

The parachute uses keys 'P' and 'E', so if you have these keys bound to another use that could be the problem. Inventory is usually 'I'. You can change the keys for the parachute and they will stay changed.
How do I change the resolution so I can see all of the keybindings so I can setup the parachute controls?
It doesn't look like you can. I tried changing the GUI scale but that doesn't work. Looks like the control button positions are hardcoded. Actually it's more like a bug. If I can figure out how to change that or add my own GUI screen I'll let you know. In the meantime you can edit your options.txt and change the codes manually. This link Key Bindings will help you figure out what number the key is.

Sooo, my Minecraft defaults to "E" for Inventory. I think it used to be "I" in older versions. I'm guessing I'm not alone in that. Maybe it would be a good idea to change the keys in your mod?

Wow, I hadn't realized the keys had changed. Inventory hasn't changed for me, guess I've been using the same options.txt all this time. Look like I'll have to change the parachute control key for 'lift'.
Updates to the parachute mod!
I changed the uplift key binding to use the the 'space' bar. This is more consistent with the game controls anyway. It also avoids the conflict with the inventory key. Sorry for the problem.

the current parachute cycles through all colors of wool with the 'P' key.
Also the 1.0.0 update will be up soon.

Wow, Thanks!
It looks like mediafire is down. I'll see about an alternate download site.
