I found an unreported bug that was unknown and NEVER mentioned (until yesterday) since 1.2.5, the beta mushroom spreading option is defective, it doesn't work.

The olddays mod is dead, sorry to tell you.
The far lands generation was epic, why not re-add it?
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would
go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them,
copy & paste this into your signature and hope it happens.

Well I mean mushrooms did spread, So if you were talking about how the option has no affect once toggled off, Then that could explain it.
Actually, yes I was, it does have no affect, but when toggled on.

Exalm, can you please add somethings from the todo, and the ability for mobs to move outside of a 32 block radius of the player?
Adding stuff right before the version update means just more work on updating.
Additionally, 1.7 seems to be pretty large update. I thought there are less code changes.
pls make it less laggy cuz the mod brings me down to 30fps or make it compatible with optifine
If it's laggy, disable (not remove!) SSP. It's partially compatible with Optifine, but I don't use Optifine, so I only check it when someone reports a bug with it.
Bug report: (I think) (I'm next to certain) mushrooms don't get affected with mushroom spreading on (they still use the current spreading algorithm), this has been going on for over a year (since 1.2.5 olddays), but I never reported it though. (EPIC fail, I know.)
Hmm, I don't quite understand it. Isn't that what mushroom spreading option is supposed to do?..
Are you using 1.7.3 lighting?Because 1.7.3 lighting is cause lags on some pc.My game only lag when I use 1.7.3 lighting but I got fps boost when I use current lighting and classic lighting.
Yes, it's slower. Well, that's a cost of having much less lighting glitches.

I'm sure there are more. The mod is HUGE, it's impossible to notice everything.

Hmm, have you saved the log? That never happened to me. :/
(snip)
It only happened the first time I loaded an /Indev/ map. I could see the interior of the spawn house for a few seconds, then I got a log which I remember to have ended after a lot of "JavaEntityRenderer" errors.
after that initial crash, the MD3 mobs rendered perfectly.
now just a curiosity, but how does Rana's texture work?
I remember looking through an /Indev/ .jar and not finding any texture for Rana- but I found a mcexport.png with an assortment of colors on it- So I assume the texture is coded into the game?
Hmm, I don't quite understand it. Isn't that what mushroom spreading option is supposed to do?..
Shouldn't it be using the Beta spreading algorithm when enabled? It uses the current one.
I guess not, sorry for wasting your time everybody, but the Beta spreading algorithm should be in this mod.
On- Current spread algorithm.
Off- No mushroom spreading.

mcexport.png is her texture. The model just uses the individual points, and not the entire texture. It's not hardcoded and never was.

Edit: Bug: There's no ladder breaking sound.
Yes, that's a known bug.

As for mushroom spreading, mushrooms initially spread to every adjacent block possible. The available blocks were determined by the type of block and light level. In update 1.8B (the Adventure Update for those that remember), mushrooms no longer could spread so thickly. They became limited to only 5 mushrooms per 9W x 9L x 3H cuboid. This is the current mushroom spreading algorithm.
Oh.
Also, "the Adventure Update for those that remember": It's pretty recent update, I don't see why people wouldn't remember it.

This crash happened to me when I modded Minecraft to run Olddays on the 1.6.4 version. Can anyone here identify the problem?
O.K. still no 1.7.2 MCP, at least there's no snapshots yet for 1.8.
