^ That's an old classic seen in the early vids of many youtubers pre 1.8.
Anyway, would it be possible to make a compatibility patch for NBXLite and Better World Generation 4?
New seed that I found:
"Glacier"
Type that in using the Alpha generator, Structures on, and New ores on, and you'll find some amazing stuff.
Here are plenty of screenshots. If you don't want to look, I pity you. There are seaside cliffs, mountains, strongholds combined with double dungeons, and plenty of remaining unexplored places for you to find, all in glorious 1920 x 1200!

Interesting... I guess many Beta seeds will work well with Alpha.

1. It's used with different generator, so it's different.
2. The mods do the same thing. What's the point?

I knew that It was the old classic. At the time that I tried the seed, I thought that for some reason the word referring to giant moving blocks of ice was "Glaicer". I tried an alternate spelling and came up with "Glacier," and thought "Holy crap nobody haz ever seen dis before because I am all de awesomez!"
Turns out I was wrong.
Still, like Exalm said, the terrain is definitely different. My favorite part is easily those cliff face mountains! The double dungeon in the stronghold really surprised me, I didn't expect it at all.
EDIT: Has anyone here ever seen a sand temple on the alpha gen with structures on?
Also, will I ever be able to use connected textures with olddays and ssp? I really would like to be able to use some of those MCPatcher features.
NBXLite changes passive mob spawning to work the way that it did in pre 1.8. BWG4 just adds in beta generation along with lots of other cool generators.

Mob spawning in NBXlite is not the main thing it does. Mods mostly do the same thing. They implement it very differently, but still. They can't be compatible.
New bugs? Trees don't seem to generate right on the Glacier alpha seed.

It's not generator. It's something to do with either chunk saving or loading, and TheCreatorGuy reported it on the previous page. However, I see the seed in F3, so it's SSP. And it tends to happen either on internal server or when you switch SSP/server without exiting world. (Using the button in OldDays GUI or opening world to LAN from SSP)

Temples, along with desert wells and witch huts, don't generate in Alpha at all. They are too biome-specific.
Beta has them all except the huts.
Connected textures? I used them in 1.4. Not sure if they work now, however.
This is the greatest mod ever! Can I/you make a topic about Olddays Sharing <like sharing photos and themes people made>. That would be a good idea and while i'm on the subject, I made a replica of Survival Test. The video will be on youtube in about 100 minutes. The video is called "Survival Test Remake in 1.5.1". Also you should add the old mushroom eating.

Old mushroom eating? You mean making it replenish 4 hunger bars instead of 3?
Oh, and as I side note, I cannot get this to work on a dedicated server jar.

I find this odd box shape these too bugged trees made to be quite interesting. Probably just a coincidence...
They even have the same height...
