Check out what I bolded/underlined/augmented. Clay Soldiers isn't out for Minecraft 1.0.0, so either restore your backup jar, or delete the version file in the minecraft folder, and play to reinstall.
Can Koda make an addon with muskets, formations, cannons, and 18th century stuff. For his mod clay soldiers.

That doesn't really fit this mod. Better to download Balkon's Weapon Mod to get those things for yourself, rather than arm the claymen with them.
When you make this thing public domain, I'm likely to start making my own version of it to share with other fans of this!
Plans: moar colors (though not needed), moar items (including a few items that do things already available, just with slight changes of value and such (mushrooms, arrows, blaze rods, blaze powder, etc.)), horse variety (either material based or randomized), maybe removing the building part, maybe removing the special behavior for black and white
I'm a little annoyed at the current events,this mod has grown huge and you've said you had plans for smp every update and now you like "I'm bored" and want to palm it off to someone else...

You also forgot to mention how hard it would be to do formations would be, and the fact that there's not much room on the texture to add a section for the rifle's texture.

Is the updated version of clay soldiers mod compatible with 'single player commands for 1.0.0', 'too many items for 1.0.0' and 'rei's minimap mod for 1.0.0'?
It's amusing, but I really think lack of multiplayer holds it back. It'll keep you amused for a few minutes in single player, and then you'll probably stash the soldiers and go back to whatever it was you were doing.

There'll be the update to 1.0.0, and for multi, along with releasing the source.
