Oh great. I got in the room with the Boss and won. Except his last flying around blue thing that causes thunder blew up the key and items he dropped. Now I can't access the Locked Chest. =.=
After modifying the mod_Aether.cfg to change the spawn rates of some creatures and loading up the game, it seems to have no effect. Then quitting the game and going back to the .cfg shows it reverts back to default.
I've heard a lot of people complaining about this. Make sure you edit the right line...
you can now disable the hiding code for the rewards by changing "TMIhidden = true" to "TMIhidden = false" in mod_Aether.cfg file. This file can be found in your /.minecraft/config/ folder. DO NOT change "#TMIhidden (boolean:true)" as this will not actually affect the config file, and immediately resets upon opening Minecraft. Instead, change "TMIhidden = true".
i think this may be a big bug fix.. when i fell off the islands of the aether i was riding a cow..and when i showed up on the surface i still had it but after a few seconds it crashed my whole file..luckily i had saved my game and backed it up just before that:)..just an FYI
wth am i supposed to spawn in the middle of nowhere in the sky with no land near me and if i try to build a long bridge across to an island i just get knocked off and lose all my items i work hard on

Dungeon Rewards are now hidden in TooManyItems by default. I can't join multiplayer. Whenever I try to join a server the background darkens for a bit, and then the game blackscreens. I'm not sure what's causing this but PLEASE fix it, I'm a guy who needs his SMP but also really likes this mod. If you could, please fix this up.
Same problem, this is the kind of bug that can ruin a mod. Destroying a game mode is.... ****.
EDIT: I learned it's Player API, and you can't run the mod w/o that. This bug needs to be fixed, urgently. Maybe they could release 1.02.1 very quickly so we can at least play multiplayer while they work on new features and smaller fixes.
Great. Anyways, I don't know how. But I used my Raygun from MoreCreeps and Weirdos and it destroyed the locked chest, and nothing came out. Even better. =.=
Can someone help me? I have been using aether version 1.01 which works fine on my mac but now with the new menu update on this version it just crashed every time! I installed all the necessary mods to run this! But as soon as i add aether to the .jar it freezes after the mojang logo where the menu should pop up. Iv'e disabled the new menu in the config file but it still freezes! What do i do?

I have reason to beleive this mod, or one of the required mods, is incompatible with Eloraam's RedPower mod.
I have been continuously trying to install the RedPower mod, which includes ALL parts, but it will not work, i have all the requirements for BOTH mods, but it appears that this and RedPower is not compatible.
I am fairly good at making redstone creations, but the RedPower mod makes it MUCH easier, funner, and more condenced!
If at all possible, please try and make this mod compatible to ALL parts of RedPower, if it is a required mod for the Aether that is incompatible, then oh well, guess no redpower :sad.gif:
It reduces the spawn, it doesn't make them despawn. I believe that going to peaceful removes them. If they still spawn in peaceful it's a problem

Maybe OP should be clearer and/or updated.
Can there be some kind of "Tombstone". It's getting annoying randomly dying from Zephyrs when you're just minding your own business. A tombstone that can be found wherever you are where it has all your items and stuff all in one place.
And another thing, Zephyrs are still unbelievably rampant. You can't turn a corner without seeing 3 or 4 Zephyrs blasting at you. And this is just on Normal.

And what line might that be? Say I want to disable zephyrs. There are only two lines containing the word "zephyr".
#rarityZephyr (int:5)
and
rarityZephyr=0
Which is how I have mine now. Obviously, the first line reverts to default but the second one stays as edited and yet it makes no difference.
