i tried to install this mod on a CLEAN Minecraft.jar folder and it still crashes my game evrytime...any ideas??
BTW i mean the Redstone Timers mod
I assume that when you say "clean" you mean you at least installed ModLoader? Redstone Timers doesn't need to be in the minecraft.jar, just put it in your mods directory. If that doesn't help, post the error log.
No problem at all - check your minecraft config directory. I use the standard modloader config file code, so you can easily change the IDs of my mod :smile.gif:
Thanks very much for the quick reply and having this fixed easily! :smile.gif: Very excited to try out the timers, maybe my factory I'm working on wont cut my FPS in half.

Looks like one of your mods requires ModloaderMP (and you don't have it installed.)
I'm definitely going to have to try out the redstone timers mod. It looks really good. [I'm not sure how I feel about the spinning/moving parts, but it makes it interesting]
Though being able to precisely time things so easily will probably feel like cheating :tongue.gif:
Good work though. [Even though the toggle isn't technically a toggle, looks more like a R/S latch from watching the vid.]
Sorry everyone, I screwed up in packaging and sent out a version that required ModLoaderMp by accident. 1.0.1 is the same as 1.0 except it doesn't require ModLoaderMp :smile.gif:

Thanks :smile.gif: I'll probably rename that block, I already have an idea for the next version anyway.
i only installed TMI and Redstone Timers purely to see if it worked and ofc i installed Modloader and deleted Meta file too.
Hrm, don't know what to tell you then. Except that something there is calling for ModloaderMP (possibly redstone timers). Obviously your modloader is loading properly or you wouldn't even get that far. You could try without TMI or make sure there's nothing else hiding in your .minecraft/mods folder. Or install ModloaderMP which will almost certainly solve the problem. Or download v1.0.1 which doesn't require ModloaderMP.
Edit:

This makes redstone so much easier! Thanks a lot! Now redstone needs to be covered easily, because this solves the complex inverter repeater timer things (I don't know what I'm saying).

Chickens are spawning in my house! Help! PLEASE!
Your house has been compromised therefore you must blow it to hell.
WOA!!!! nice man!! im downloading it now, i have a question though, will you make it smp compadible? me and a friend on my server where working with buildcrafts quarry and we noticed when we used a pulser it lagged rather badly... would be totally awesome if you made this support smp. i had to get rid of milleneire cause it was lagging me (or was it finite liquids...) so right now i have finite liquids, buildcraft, a few minimods, and i will have this soon. would love to add this to my server :smile.gif:
how can i change the id? its conflicting with redstone wireless? thanks..
Aha, this one I know! Been through the same conflict earlier.
Upon launching (and crashing) a file called .minecraft/config/mod_Timers.cfg is created. Inside this file you may edit the Block IDs for the timers, relaunch minecraft and it works! :blink.gif:

Ok, weird issue. I noticed some lag in game after installing and playing around with your Redstone Timers mod. [obviously the lag could have come from one of my other mods] So, I was trying to figure out if the timer was the culprit or not and noticed.
The timers icon changes when it's in my action bar ... goes from lit to unlit depending on if there's nothing or something in my hand... *confused look*
Edit: Just checked, wasn't your mod causing the lag. Something's randomly spiking my cpu which makes my framerate drop down for a second or two.
Might just be an ID conflict, if you're running other mods.
let me check the ids... fore some unnatural reason i can't get the error logs, so i have to try a lot of id's xD
If you figure out which mod I'm conflicting with, let me know. I tried to pick a range that didn't conflict with any of the mods I used for this:
But with only 256 IDs to choose from, and so many mods out there, it's hard to avoid completely.

Great Mod. Been thinking Jens or Notch should add a 555 chip for quite a while now....
