Poll: What do you think?
Ended May 15, 2014
Everything else is in any other client..
Thanks, but, can you tell me how? Anything special? Do you have any other mods, etc?
What other mods are you running? How did you install ControlPack?
i have optifine forge inventory tweaks and this now using magic launcher
No other mods. I installed it by copying over a version and doing the drag-and-drop into the .jar.
Liked "The Art of War"? Sad it was taken down? Now you can read it again!

Everything appears to function but the extra HUD stuff.

Step 1:
Install Minecraft, open it up, login, and click play to load it once, when you get to the menu screen close it.
Step 2:
Get the current Forge installer for minecraft 1.6.2 and run it with java
Step 3:
Run minecraft launcher, select forge profile, and open the game once, when you get to the menu screen close it.
Step 4:
Navigate to your minecraft folder
~/.minecraft on linux
on windows open %appdata% from your search bar, click roaming, and then enter .minecraft
Step 5: create the following subdirectory structure in your minecraft folder
libraries/net/controlpack/controlpack/5.10
Step 6: rename the control pack zip file to controlpack-5.10.jar and place it in libraries/net/controlpack/controlpack/5.10
Step 7:
go to your forge folder in your minecraft folders versions subdir ( it's the one with forge in the name ) and open the .json file in a text editor
Find the line "libraries":[
the next 4 lines should be for loading forge and looks something like this:
add the following just after the forge section:
you're json should now look something like this
save the file
next open the minecraft launcher, and select your forge profile. click the edit button instead of play, add the following jvm parameter
save it, and launch the game, and everything should just work
Thanks go out to ntzrmtthihu777 for helping me put this together, and also to infinitiesloop for making this awesome mod!!!
[EDIT]Good news! The look-back feature works with optifine (hd u b4) if you use my OptiForge method (link in signature) and Korekame's load method (above post)!
I don't suppose maybe making it where the remaining uses shows up when you have the f3 hud active is possible? Twould be useful.

This does not work. I followed it to a tee and got this in my launcher.

Do not forget the commas, and make sure that there are no commas after the last item in a section. Note the comma after the close brace, that's required as well.
When I close minecraft and try to start it up AGAIN, it doesn't work. Why is that?
Edit: And just because of that it worked this time... I don't get where the problem is.
So I did this with both optifine and controlpack successfully but then when I add a mod in the actual mods folder it breaks the whole thing any ideas?
Also when I take out the mod it doesn't work anymore either
Can anyone help?
