Hey, just wanted to bring to your attention that if I place a stack of iron or gold ore (the new ones in your mod) in a furnace to smelt it and later come back, I will always find only one iron or gold ingot...
That is, the furnace smelts the first one normally, but the rest just disappear into thin air and the whole amount of ore I put in to smelt only turns into one single ingot...
Don't know if you had heard of this bug, but it makes the mod unusable for me, since I'm not going to smelt one ore and take it out, then smelt another ore, etc. one by one...

yah that is unusual. fortunately for me, its not my mod. seeing as the ores drop mores uses modloader, it doesnt directly use the furnace files. try redownloading minecraft, or modloader
I was excited to see this mod again. I played it under 1.8, and really enjoyed it. Nice addition to save the casual player some time in gathering resources.
Unfortunately, I am still using MC 1.0 and cannot get ODM 1.6 to work. I followed the video's directions an installed the extra v.class file, but when I launch, minecraft displays a "determining what to update" message and black screens.
I guess I should just be patient and wait until I upgrade to 1.1, but just in case these are the mods I am running.
Mo Creatures
Premium Wood (Scot tools)
Death Chest
Autoswitch
Treecapitator
rei Minimap
Possibly a conflict with Scot tools or autoswitch?

Looking further, I noticed that both Scot tools and ODM have a replacement zu.class file (none of my other mods seem to). Since both of these mods modify block destruction time, this may be the conflict.(However, this is a pure guess, I really have no idea how all this works).
This is... almost exactly what I've been searching for. I really love the plugin McMMO due to its drop rates, and I've been wanting a SP version for a long while now. That's not happening unfortunately, but this seems like a solid substitute.
I have not played the mod yet, but I have a suggestion. Perhaps you could make the drop rate, or at least have the chances of drops, be affected by what type on pickaxe you are using? For instance....
Mining diamond ore.
Stone - 1 drop
Iron - 2 drop
Diamond - 3 drop
Or instead...
Stone - 5% chance for 3 drop, 20% chance for 2 drop
Iron - 15% chance for 3 drop, 40% chance for 2 drop
Diamond - 30% chance for 3 drop, 70% chance for 2 drop.

i was told scot tools has incompatibilities. other than that man, all it does is adjust the mod file and change a single number.

Just an idea. :biggrin.gif:
sounds interesting. but i gotta do a lot more for chance rates. see instead of giving it a percent chance of dropping something, it picks a random number 1 through 3 ores to drop. i could look into probability because this seems to be a smart idea, however i cant promise it will definately be that way. glad you liked my mod! visit my ABOUT ME page to visit other mods i've created
I would like some way to get more stone sometimes, is there a way to make a special pickaxe that drops more stone, it will help me a lot at buildings :smile.gif:
I was wondering what Texture Pack Is that?
