Flowerchild, I just wanted to let to know that it is possible to get endstone without beating the dragon.
By using an enderchest with beacon, you can transport endstone from the end to the overworld. To get back you simply have to suicide.
Given it's easier to just beat the dragon, I'm not particularly concerned
wait, you mean beating the mob meant to be the final boss of minecraft is easier then beating a mob meant to be a side-boss?
Oh well, this is BTW, vanilla minecrat rules don't apply here.
Yeah, you can dodge the ender dragons attacks, but the wither, well you better have some strength and healing potions on you, but the dragon is still difficult though.

As I recall, in JRPGs it's very common to have a "side boss" that's optional, yet far more powerful than the story boss. Usually accessible either after the main boss, or just a little before, and requires a bit of a challenge in order to even reach. Classic examples are the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald Weapons from FF7 and the Infinite Dungeon from FFX-2. I always thought of The Wither as a similar creation considering its ability to smash through any blocks (besides soul-forged steel) between you and it.
Scared me out of my mind when I first found them.
I was swimming away from some wolves out for my blood when one latched on top of my head, and everything went dark.
I somehow managed to kill it and get on shore without going out to the ocean or dying, but it really scared me, and took a couple of tests to find out what the heck had happened

Poor squid
I'll have to work on that behavior some more then. I feel like I let the poor thing down.
If you hadn't killed it, you know it would have taken you to the aqua-dimension right? Where you could have frolicked amongst the sea horses and come back with a bountiful haul of treasure?
Do you have any plans on doing something with the Creative Mode?
I think the best and easiest thing to do would be to just remove it entirely since BTW is all about the survival aspect.
It would be just like what you did with the peaceful and easy difficulties.

Well, i think creative mode is fine, i don't there will be a need to remove it.

I do believe the discussion has come up in the past, with the decision being to leave it in, but as another unsupported game mode. Most anything really unique to BTW or that could be spoiled is disabled in creative.
I think creative is a nice thing for builders, who want to plan out their creations first in creative to see if they work and then implement into their playing world, like me.
The problem is, Creative Mode is unsupported by FC. As I see it, FC needs to finalize it or just remove it...

You need to be wearing all diamond equipment though, otherwise you won't be able to withstand the awesomeness of the realm. I recommend bringing a stack or two of emeralds along too as gifts for The Great Ones.

I don't disagree. However, it's beyond the amount of work or complaining that I want to endure at this late stage
Creative mode does suck, and was probably one of the worst things that happened to the game in creating a legitimized cheat mode, I just have other priorities at present.

That undermines suspension of disbelief, which has always been my problem with it. You can plan and test in survival as well, and it keeps you within the overall context of the game.
Again, it's just god mode turned into a menu option so it feels like you aren't cheating. Soon as you start flying around placing infinite blocks at will, something is permanently lost from the "reality" of the game that can never be regained.

I dunno. I personally prefer to be wearing a full set of soulforged steel armor, but yeah, I guess you could do it in diamond in a pinch.

Ugh, my inability to tell apart jokes from serious talk really messes with me a lot.....
I guess I'll have to try wearing a squid hat when I kill the enderdragon and get my soulforged steel stuff.
Which will be really long, as I have 18 iron nuggets as of now, but out of those 18, 12 are in another spawn-base(death :))
the world's save exist in the saves folder but there's only session.lock and level.dat, and an empty data folder
by luck, this was just a test world, but please, don't tell me that it's a feature called "hardcore saving"
No, it's definitely not
Not sure what's going on, but this is not something anyone else has ever reported, so I suspect it might be an install issue on your end.
If you can, you pretty much deserve the endstone anyway.

Thanks man

If people choose to use it, that's on them.

Huh, I thought the steel interfered with the transference method, but I do remember you saying something about intending to fix it.
No, it's definitely not
