I have no idea what you're talking about with regards to MCPatcher though. I used that to install 4.84 and the mod total conversion is working perfectly fine as far as I can tell.
Well yes, that's what I meant about it hopefully not being an issue
None of the other mods are of good enough quality to mix in anyway. Although I loved modloader in the past (who else remembers when EVERY mod edited base classes?) it won't really be missed. Even the BTW Add-Ons are higher quality than ML mods these days.
Hello.
Congrats for the total conversion it was about time =P.
I've been lurking in the btw foruns - although i never joined in, because any "contributions" that I may give surely be pointless or stupid and i have to preserve my image and nowdays I'm a very sporadic game player =( - and i saw the horse addon discutions. I think its a very neat initiative but I like to share this: http://www.minecraft...straw-and-more/. The roxa's horses.
Not wanting to belittle the efforts and the group of the add-on, when i saw her mod was amazed by it's quality and savoi-faire . It really fits the horses in a more minecrafty way not only in vanilla but - IMHO - in BTW too, both for aesthetics and for the gameplay.
Her's horses: 1 - do not have GUI 2 run only a bit faster than sprinting - not overspeeded - and jump 2 blocks high 3 reutilize the saddles in a clever way. 4 the horses hate water, making boats and bridges needed.
As much i love the mo'creatures horses as a mod itself,, I must say Roxa's ones stolen my heart. Unfortunately its not compatible, even with previous BTW releases- i just tested it (
Wizardglick knows the mod i guess, but i test it further and i confirm the horses do not spawn with BTW.)
Anyway. congrats and i'm looking forward for what the future should bring to us.
Do not install ModLoader. This mod total conversion no longer has any prerequisites for installation.

hardcore swimming: players can no longer swim. also make boats harder to make, this prevents minecraft water from being as op as it has always been if the player have the actual fear of drowning. suggestion to the boat changes. i know you don't like making world gen fc but making a bamboo tree like in one of the biomes mods sounds like a cool way of constructing a boat/raft and it also gives the players a breathing pipe as a way of going into somewhat deeper water. reeds may be used since its already in game but its kind of boring. adding fresh and salt water would also be a welcome change but that would maybe also do to much world gen. but the struggle for food would be cooler if you also needed fresh water, collecting rain water or from morning dew. having a whole separate food/health bar for water may be to much but i dunno. think it would be cool
i would like this as a feature of btw so i'm just giving the suggestion. don't have the time to read 2000 pages to see if it have been suggested before. like your way of trying to add the fear back to minecraft:)

Could this have been caused by ModLoader?
Seeing as 4.84 doesn't work with ModLoader, I'm going to wager yes.
Help please! I get stuck on done loading. Also i did not understand your mac installation. HELP. Thanks
Make sure you have nothing else installed besides BTW and you've read the note for mac users in the readme. Otherwise it would help if you posted a crash log (in a spoiler) so people can provide more help.
Do wolves loose hunger in Creative? I've been trying to create a Dire Wolf but he wont eat.
Protip: If something isn't working in creative, try it in survival. I know FlowerChild disables certain features in creative and it wouldn't surprise me if the beast is one of those things.
I'm trying to get the mod running without MCPatcher on a mac and I'm getting stuck on the "done loading" screen when launching MC after installing 4.84 doing the following steps. I checked the Readme.txt in regards to mac installation and manually added the sub files.
- Expand the minecraft.jar with Unarchiver, add .jar extension to folder. Delete original .jar - Delete META-INF from expanded minecraft.jar - Copy class files from BTW MINECRAFT-JAR folder to expanded minecraft.jar folder - Copy block/items files from textures folder in BTW MINECRAFT-JAR folder to appropriate folders in expanded minecraft.jar - Copy splashes.txt from title folder in BTW MINECRAFT-JAR folder to title folder in expanded minecraft.jar

Am I missing a step?
It works fine for me. Only thing I did differently was the order in which I put stuff in. Make sure you're manually adding in the stuff in the net folder. There's a few sub-directories in there and you have to go through them and copy the minecraft.class file into the right place. If you copy the minecraft sub-directory or the client sub-directory, you'll have issues cause there's other stuff there.
Well yes, that's what I meant about it hopefully not being an issue
Thats your personal opinion then..... I thought the idea for suggestions was fairly clear o.O
I'll miss CraftGuide somewhat.
P.S. I'll complain about not being able to cut chests and tables with saws before I make it work for myself.
Uhoh.../tinfoil_hat
YES!!! Thank you! I hated that!
Do real chickens even make that kind of sound?

Wouldn't it need to be two little rocks tied together, with a set on each foot? I guess clam shells might work in a pinch too.
Only if carried by a swallow.

:edit: sneaky net folder... solved.
