Just a quick note for anyone that's interested(I've noticed some people asking about it on Mystcraft's thread). I just tested the Better Than Wolves v3.62, with the newest non-forge version of Mystcraft 0.8.2, and it appears that the conflicts between the two are fixed. The creative bug is fixed(no more crashing with the inventory), and the BUD and detector blocks work properly. It also doesn't seem to matter which order they're installed in, I've tried it both ways.
Here's a few screenshots I took in creative while testing
Thanks again for all your hard work FlowerChild, the mod, as always, is excellent!
Really? Other people on the Mystcraft thread are saying that the detectors and buddy blocks still don't work, but they still tick and do the animation. They just don't give off a redstone signal.
Have you tried hooking those up to something to see if that's the case? I'm not sure what you mean by "working properly"........ I'll try it myself later.

Ok i tried something new, installed ModLoader via MC Patcher and then BTW that worked fine , my other Mods are now deactivated but thats no Problem. Thank you for your time and help
If you had other mods installed that was probably causing the crash in the first place.

So, it works for you fine in both installation orders? I looked on the Mystcraft thread, and people are getting mixed results. I think one person said that, if you install BTW before Mystcraft, then the item held textures are messed up, like the axle. If you install it the other way, it works fine.
Hmmm...... I need to experiment with this later. But thanks anyways.

I'm liking this rumoured compatability with mystcraft - back when it was a WIP there was a fair bit of discussion about it in the forums, and I get the impression it's the kind of mod a lot of people would happily pair up with BTW...hell, even I might at some point. Though ince it's clear that BTW has to be installed after it though for BTW's full functionality, I fear that installing both will have to break something in mystcraft. I have niether the ability to test nor familiararity with mystcraft, so it'd be great if someone who has both could report back the issues they run into when installing both
Although I've never used mystcraft before I'm doing some testing right now to see if installing BTW after mystcraft does anything. They both overwrite 3 of the same base classes though. xd.class, tw.class, and os.class. That and they both use ITextureProvider.class from forge but I don't know how recent mystcraft's file is so I can't really say for sure if that will do anything.
EDIT: It looks like everything is working the way its supposed to. No weird side effects from the combination of the mods and all the blocks seem to work right.
I installed Mystcraft after I installed BTW, and my BUD/detectors aren't working, though all my textures are fine.
Do it the other way around Mystcraft first, then BTW, Ive got a double chest full of descriptive books, and I've made a few custom worlds in creative. See my earlier post on this page for a video I made of some testing I've done.
i installed mystcraft and btw they work good together for me. but when i patch my mc for hd texture. i only use the hd texture font and better grass options.. the mystcraft gets deleted from my game
any idea ?

Are you using MCpatcher?, If so, try watching this video by Battosay on using it to install mods,
I think I found a bug: If you plant a blood wood shrub in the Nether, all surrounding zombie pigmen will become hostile, even if you didn't provoke one.

Is that the whole thing? Better Than Wolves doesn't even appear to be installed, and there's no info about a crash.

Here's a little video I made of the test

I just tried burning some with the latest release and it's working fine, so not sure what to tell you man.
Do you have any other mods installed that might be conflicting? When you reinstalled, did you do so with a clean .jar?
Always nice to receive an update pester in return when I try to help someone out.
Do you have zombe's modpack installed as well? if so, do not install the furnace mod class file. it ****s up nethercoal.
