I finally got it to work but it took my other mods away... Please help. I had a backup so i got them all back but still i want optifine
You should get a clean minecraft.jar (force update) and then use Magic Launcher. It makes the use of multiple mods easier.
And remember to have Optifine installed last. (Listed last if you use Magic Launcher)
Does not work for me.
yes i tried the other "fixes"
We established that already. That was in reply to NateN34 this time around.
For you, I'd still like to see that screenshot of your NVIDIA Control Panel settings. Also, make sure that you are actually set to use the "advanced 3D image settings" as shown under the "adjust image settings with preview" section.
Other than that, I don't remember if you tried the Smooth or Standard editions but try those if you haven't.
Forge .114 ( with HD support )
Optifine C1 Standard
1. Looks like all animated textures are played too fast ( around 2x (?) ). it doesn't matter if it is a default texturepack or other.
2. In case of mods, some textures are missing in forge versions ( very rare ) and none forge ( around 99% of all sprites ). Problem applies to both, block and items textures.
i'm using a fresh minecraft.jar and i'm trying to add all 3 optifine parts. so the basc one, smooth, and multicore. and i use magiclauncher. and at they list lik this. b2, S and MT. and it says at the MT one it has 5 errors.
how can i found out what thos errors are?
Go look at the OP again. Especially at the chart in the spoiler for where it says "Editions" near the top underneath where the donate button is.
Good mod. I have no lag any longer with the multiple core version(I have a duo core), but I have flashing chunkerrors all over the place, what makes the game unplayable. I played around with the settings a bit, but nothing worked. Anyone knows how to resolve this?
Edit: When I'm on the menu, the blinking/flashing stuff stopps...
Edit2: Turning AdvancedOpenGL off makes it a little bit better, but doesnt removes it. Also, setting the render distance to extreme removes it, but it brings me back the lag and causes Out of memory errors.
optifine used to work perfectly for me, with plenty of mods, but for some reason when i loaded the game it changed to the default texture pack by itself, i shrugged it off and just played with that pack to avoid problems, but then it froze and now i cant load it, even by itself, i use hd b2 standard and now i cant even use the mod at all, i can use all my others just as normal but for some reason optifine just had a huge hissy fit, can anybody help? i am on a mac btw...
heres the report (no texture pack or mods whatsoever):

I hear that the newest MCPatcher allows custom animations for paintings and mobs in the same way it does for terrain and items. Does the newest Optifine do that? Only asking because I'd honestly prefer to use Optifine

Thanks
Answered 9 posts before you asked. (And on the previous page I think)
If you are not going to check the last couple of pages, at least check THE PAGE YOU ARE POSTING ON.
AND I DELETE THE SHADERS OFF OF MCPATCHER AND STILL DOESN'T WORK! D:and when I try to play minecraft the screen turns black or white.
Didn't work, but thanks anyway
I think I will just have to live with this then.
