PCG: I GAVE YOUR WHOLE UNIVERSE CANCER, JADE.
PCG: SORRY.
I haven't really read anyone else's posts to see if anyone else has told you this, but in industrialcraft the ores only have that bug if you install the "industrially improved pickaxe" without enabling it in the config. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe if you don't install industrially improved pickaxe it will behave correctly too, you just have to enable/disable the improved pickaxe or it will be all buggy.
EDIT: Oh I also meant to ask, if you install scotools and have industrially improved pickaxe installed and enabled, will scotools have adverse affects with industrialcraft?
If you don't install the "industrially improved pickaxe", you will mine the ores from industrial craft slowly, and it won't depend on the pickaxe you use. And if you have it installed and enabled and ScotTools was installed over it, it will probably crash the game (not certain), and if you have it disabled and you installed ScotTools after it, nothing will break and the tools will work. I'm not too certain about other combinations though.
Premium Wood is one of my favorite mods. In fact, it's my second.
First is Better Than Wolves, but that's hard to pass up anyway.
Patiently waiting for an update :smile.gif:

Okay thank you very much, I was getting crashes every time I loaded a world but this might fix that.
EDIT: Okay so re disabling the "addminableores" (industrially improved pickaxe) in industrialcraftconfig.txt will not prevent crashes if you already added that file. I will try replacing the .class it uses with the one from my vanilla backup. If that doesn't fix it I will tediously attempt to reinstall the tons of mods I have installed. If that doesn't work I'm sorry for your time but it must be something else

The class file from Industrial Craft should be the same as one in ScotTools. All you should have to do is reinstall ScotTools then disable the option and it should work.

Okay well it turns out that was only a part of the problem, the other problem is not you or your mod. Industrialcraft seems to have aan incompatibility with minecraft extended and/or the preader.class that is required for minecraft extended

Scokeev, is there any chance of ToolUtilys or ScotTools replaceing each other, so we only have to use one? It'd be nice if someone could figure out a solution so that all ore mods that use one of those would work fine with each other.
Correction. Scrolling through the front page it looks like you've accomplished that. So is there any reason to still have ToolUtilys ever?
Is there a way to disable the making the ice clearer bit of the Betterwinter mod? Love it otherwise, just don't particularly like the very clear ice next to the much more opaque water.

It wouldn't be an issue with PReader, since it only uses one class that doesn't even use or read any of the class files in Minecraft. It could very well be an issue with MC Extended though.

Well, I've made ScotTools with the modder in mind, making it extremely simple to use. Since ToolUtils is now in ShockAhPI, the API has many more features (some that aren't very useful in many mods). I still plan on keeping ScotTools API alive, and using it in my mods since I'm not sure how many mods will conflict with ShockAhPI, and ScotTools has a server-side mod available. And the fact that ScotTools is my first API and I'm fairly proud of using the Java coding I learned simply by looking at the code used in Minecraft to understand how Java works, and by getting errors when I do something wrong, which helped me figure out how to know what the code should be every time without having to see if I got an error, and by using Google, of course. I just like ScotTools better, but I think I'm going to remove the AddBlocksBurning and AddBlocksNetherrack (a code that modders can use to make blocks burn without modifying the fire class file of minecraft) so that it will be more compatible with other mods, and since I want to be able to use the Cauldron in the BetterThanWolves mod. But no, ToolUtils would be obselete for the fact that ScotTools can do pretty much anything ToolUtils can do (until it's latest release, which uses the factors from Terraria to have 'block strengths' ranging from 1-100 or something like that). Sorry if I rambled.
The PremiumWood mod adds no new block IDs for the varied wood types, correct? Every single wood type is created using damage values right?
Just wanted to ask before the mod is updated, so that I know what I'm getting into when I install it.

If missing a deadline makes you a bad person, then Notch must be Satan himself.

I figured it out, you have to install MC Extended after you install industrialcraft.
Also, I figured I'd try out the auto modder but I have a Mac :angry.gif:. Is there any chance you will mac a version of that for Mac?

yes and everything looks good... how can i check if the meta inf is deleted?
Open the Minecraft.jar file using WinRaR or 7-Zip. If you do not have 7-Zip installed and you do see a META-INF folder, open the META-INF folder (just double-click the folder in the WinRaR window), and if all of the files have ".INFO", then it was successful. I think I fixed the WinRaR version (there are two separate codes used, one that works with 7-Zip, and one that works with WinRaR) so that it actually deletes the META-INF folder, but I can't be certain. If it still doesn't work, go to the 'Extra_Features' folder and find 'Error_Test.bat' and run that. This will launch minecraft and will log any error messages that occur. Follow the on-screen instructions to copy and paste the error log here. Thanks.

Well, if you know how to edit images using a program that can handle transparency (not paint), you can open up the image inside the 'icechanged' folder in the download, then open up a terrain.png file (open minecraft.jar using WinRaR and find the 'terrain.png' and click extract after highlighting it) using the same program, select the 16x16 area of the ice texture, hit "Ctrl+C" to copy it, then right-click on the ice image from the icechanged folder in the image editing window, then click 'Paste' from the drop-down menu that appeared from right-clicking it.
It's actually a lot simpler than it sounds, I just gave all details in case you didn't know how to do something.
