Do you have a decent computer? If you have a slow one it may be caused by the fancy leaf graphics. If not, then the only other thing I can suggest would be to reinstall minecraft.

I don't have a really good laptop, but it is good enough for Minecraft. and i have not had any problems before running mods...
and i have tried to re-install everything like 3 times now... and only with the necessarily mods for this one...
I just have to manage to live without this mod then :-P
Downloaded the NetherCraft mod, and have been super excited about it. Very cool looking so far, though I have a question about its implementation. I added the mod to a single player world I have been developing for about a week, and today geared up for some hardcore Nether exploration. After mining my way all around the nether I did see some of the new mobs, and was able to kill some and loot some new drops, however, after a TON of digging and exploring I have yet to see one lick of the new ores. I have dug huge rooms out looking for even one brick of the new ore and have not seen any. Also no trees or nether cane growing. I am curious if this ore and trees are just rare as hell, or if perhaps soemthing has gone wrong in the mods implementation??? Thanks in advance for reading and helping!!!

I had explored it a little, but not much. This time I have gone far beyond my last exploration, and opened up many new areas of the nether. Still no new trees or what not...
Not too sure I want to do that. (a) Nature Overhaul isn't my mod or idea, (:cool.gif: to do this I would either have to create the code all from scratch, or get the source code from the creator, and then implement it, and (c)some people wouldn't want this feature, as it increases lag greatly on most computers. Sorry.
It won't lag if you turn the settings down to "superslow" or something similar, and bind a key to "removedrops all" in singleplayercommands. Plus, it will lag a lot less in the nether than in the overworld, since there aren't useally that many glowood trees (unless you planted a s***load already). Plus, you can easily make those class files 'optional' classes.
You have to get a piece of cooked fish and feed it to the manta before you can control it. Then after about half an MC day it will become hungry, and won't be able to carry you until you feed it again. In v1.0 I'm going to increase this to a full day.
I feed it a piece of cooked manta meat but I couldn't control it so is just cooked fish?

That's odd. I think there may be a conflict with another mod, since I've had this reported previously a while back.
woops sorry about the obelisk XD didnt know it was taken down...
but what about the w dust thingy.. and do you have to use ghast bones to make anything higher than pyridium???
W Dust just needs to be placed above a Neridium Lava Bucket in a crafting table.
Ghast Bone Rods are used to make Pyridium and Linium.

mods in use:
optifog/mine and laggspikesofdeath (from this post: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-166-optifog-and-optimine-fps-boost/ )
modloader
scottools
It might be an issue with either ModLoader, or the config files. Try deleting the config folder in /.minecraft and see if that fixes the issue.
Should i just add your mods then add toolutils or the otherway around?
nope, that did nothing...

Yep, just install ToolUtils last. You don't have to reinstall, just recopy the files into the .jar.

Have you already explored the Nether before?

I got it to work.

I just don't really want to. Sorry.
