So, no resolve to the useless mayan miner yet, I also see someone else is having this problem. I've got another one now, started a new world and encountered a norman village, only to be brutally slaughtered over and over again as three villagers repeatedly teleport to me with "fighting creature" status's.
Did you read the replies to other peoples complaints? You can't SEE the miner mine, and that norman village was called a lone building and was a bandit outpost, bandits are hostile so they attack you :}

Oh man, what a bunch of rude brutes.
Okay, so I can't see him mine, but the forester manages to collect wood, and the farmers manage to collect maze, but they have no stone income, no smooth stone, nothing in the smelters. Unless I give it to them.
Okay, seems like non of you understood the point of this.
THIS IS AN UPDATE
Just copy the folders Millenaire and Millenaire-custom to your .minecraft folder and replace existing files then the 2.0.1 update to your mods folder (in this case, remove the 2.0 but backup first just in case)
OVERWRITE THE FILES THAT ARE ALREADY THERE, DON'T REMOVE THE FOLDERS AND PUT THE OTHERS IN THEIR PLACE
2.0.1 Is missing important things in those folders.
Please ask before starting to rant.
Sorry about big red caps, not being rude or yelling just want everyone to notice
OK it seems none of you have seen a millenaire update before, I have never had to go into folders and find whats missing and replace it....
Im pretty sure this isn't normal so why don't you calm your muffins before using the big red text of notch...
edit: normally you go in, find folders, drag new folders in, hit replace, and done. Then do the same with mods folder, except delete the old folder. Something is messed up here :\
It does turn out you can toss in the new stuff from 2.0.1 after that, but you can't make a fresh install from 2.0.1. (My mistake was deleting the Millenaire directory to ensure a 'fresh start,' reason being I'd had issues about that before.)
Hopefully all the kinks will be worked out soon enough.

You don't have to find what's missing, just copy the folders in your minecraft folder and replace all duplicates.
It's just common sense, if the mod is missing 1Mb out of 3 and half of it's files; you know something's missing, the least you can do is try that....
If you took the time to read the post you'd notice I wasn't yelling but if I didn't use big red caps people like the posters above would keep complaining and saying this is a terrible broken mod. That's the way this forum works, everyone will keep complaining until proven wrong or an update is released.
LOL, well I guess I should have read the last few pages before going "New Update!!! Install away little computer!" Oh well, I keep old versions... just in case... so it was a simple downgrade to 2.0 for me. Had me worried for a second though. It would have been awful to live in a minecraft world where invisible Mayans farm pink squares.
There were files missing from 2.0.1 due to a packaging error. It's fixed, please re-download.

Got the mod now and it says its working on startup, however the buildings in the villages are all pink and there arent any villagers... Anyone know of a fix for this?
Hey this looks like a great mod, adds a lot to the game and I would love to use it. Unfortunately, I have tried every possible way and watched every you-tube video that can be of any help. The only problem with that is all the videos are outdated by a few days. So I guess my only real request is for some sort of instructions on how to prepare the installer and the mod itself. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Actually the mod installation is still the same so even really old videos should work.
You just have to download the new versions of modloader, the game and the mod and thats it.
When you download the mod's zip file there's a readme.pdf file with detailed instructions
And to make the instructions short you just have to copy the files to the corresponding folder and that's it.
The "hard" part is installing ModLoader: open minecraft.jar with WinRAR and drag and drop the modloader files.
If you follow the readme it says ModLoader 1.8.1 and things like that but ignore that and download the new versions of course.
Hullo, my name is Firespread. Sir Firespread, if you please. I'm naturally American and English is my native language, but I'm about 40% Russian, 20% French/German/Spanish/English, 10%Irish, 10% Israeli, 10% From every other developed country on earth, and 10% American.
So I guess you could say I'm Russian, even though I know none of the language. I do know some French, however. Anyway, I'm Sir Firespread, And I'm here to help. And rant.
Is there a way to shut off Minecraft's villages (but not strongholds because those are totally different and I want them in) and use this? It's too weird to come across those unfinished MC villages with testificates.

They should come back. I reverted and it works fine now.
Just Say No to 2.0.1.
how did you get all the 2.0 stuff back? I can't find it in the older releases?

This will get you 2.0.0, the good one: http://dl2.millenaire.org/files/Millenaire2.0.zip

YES! exactly.
Or Kinniken forgot to add the rest of the files or it was intended to be this way but that's what you have to do for this update.
EDIT:
Yes, he forgot.

Where can I get the regular class files?
THANK YOU!, I like modders who are fast solving things like this.
Great work.
