@Kinniken Thx for the awesome mod. I have my first indian village, type Gaanv, fully developed. But their chest are overflowing with raw chicken. I had the idea to buy the chicken, rice and turmeric to cook the Murgh Curry and then sell it do the fort which is still in the construction stage. Is there a solution to use the curry or the other ingredients for themselves? And how do i add murgh curry to the buying list of a city? I insert the lines in the village.txt, but i don't find the right name of murgh curry..
Hope you know what i mean ;-)
Stevie
What chests is it accumulating in? The Town Hall?
And no, you can't sell curries to the village, they don't actually use it, they consume rice, turmeric and chicken directly.

Looks you did not install it correctly. It's not finding the proper content for the culture directories. Post a screenshot of your millenaire directory with the directories inside expended so we can see the structure.

Yes, it's the Town Hall Chests. Do i have a chance to change the amount of chicken used by town folks. I have ca. 50 Rice and Turmeric and by now more than 600 Raw Chicken. Do you have plans for using curry as a tier 2-food for the town folk?
Stevie
Ok, I got it, the limitation on slaughtering chicken if there is too much of it in the Town Hall was not coded properly. It should be fixed in the next version.

Yes. You are missing the extra folder for the Hindi and Norman cultures and the custom one for both. What software did you use to unpack Millénaire? It looks like it did not create those directories, probably because they are empty. Millénaire still looks for them however.

I just looked in the Heian time period of Japan (794-1192) and it's very interesting. It's where the Japanese culture, art and traditions where cultivated and they invented their own handwriting font (Hiragana) independent from the chinese one. The capital was Heian-kyō (called Kyōto today) There were many emperors and wars later and this is the time period where the Samurais accured. The Japanese building designs in that time is really fascinating. So I think it would be a really good idea to be the Japanese culture the next one.
Indeed, Japanese villages do seem like a good idea.

Kinniken please answer my question, why can't we use notepad if we want to translate to a different language?
Because Notepad handles text encoding (important when dealing with accents and other special characters) and line breaks (important when dealing with files across multiple OS) badly. But it shouldn't be an issue, they are several good free alternatives for Windows, such as PSPad: http://www.pspad.com/

Oh and Robberhood, I hadn't seen you are living in Japan. If only Minecraft handled Unicode display I'd have to ask you for a Japanese translation now that you are done with the German one :wink.gif:

Oh and regarding that market problem, does nobody have a log related to it? And is everyone having it or are there people with working markets?

haha^^ there is still romaji so it'll be no problem but the japanese feeling would miss :tongue.gif:
I don't know how well it works for Japanese, but the reason I'm not doing a Hindi version is because Hindi in Latin characters is a mess...

Japanese villages would be awesome. I applaud the original suggestion and wholeheartedly welcome the possibility. Also, you've done great work. This is a top mod. I use Seasons with it and it works great, even without direct compatibility things like plants dying out, and saplings not growing, it definitely affects them.
I must make a request though: as a future feature, any chance you might allow for the turning off of some information? When I see someone I get their name, how they are feeling and what they are saying in two languages. I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to HUD items; I wouldn't mind the option of disabling some of the info.
I have an idea of what they are doing by watching and listening, "After I'm done here I'm going to build a red brick tavern!" Goodness, that's why you were leveling my house. And if needed, I could easily figure out their names as well; it is written on their homes in the village roster! Additionally, the two languages is neat but I'd prefer the option to just have them talk to me when I get close and leave it at that. I understand some probably like the information, I'd just like the option to turn it off.
Personally I'd probably play without the translation, I'm a foreigner in their land. Might even learn a few words from them.
Hey i love this mod but no matter how far I explore, I press V and it says no village within 2 kilometers and I always do it on new worlds. What do i do?

Damn configs! I think I've got a stumper and there it is, already done! Huzzah?
However, what is with the highly aggressive town spawns? I just had four spawn into the same map upon creation, I thought they had a distance separation of 300m? I seem to be getting bare 2 on creation.
