First off nice plugin. But I have ran in to a little bit of a problem. I'm trying to render out say 2000blocks form 0,0 s o I can port it over to a bukkit server since this does not support bukkit.(Wish you would port it to mutliverse and its world gen plugins) Anyone know of a mod or a way to get it to render out a full map from say 0,0 and 2000 blocks all around? so the hole world would be 4000x4000 blocks total. I would love to use this for a resource and or main map for a anarchy server that mcdominion.net will be starting up here vary soon.

I did this, with some python script named mcexplore.py and a nbt.py.
It takes chunk size as a parameter, not blocks, so 2000x2000 would be "mcexplore.py 125"
I built a 2000x2000 chunk (betterbiomes/walledcity world that's about 30gb just to see what it would look like. It took almost two days straight, it's 32,000x32,000 blocks.
Came here with a question, but at least I can answer a few for one of my favourite mods.
Dylpickle373: Would you be able to add testificates (villagers) spawn in the non-ruined cities?
You can do it yourself. Monster spawners are special chests that can hold mobs, and will create copies of that mob. Special Block ID 330 creates a monster spawner with a Testificate/ villager inside. Since monster spawners don't need to be exposed to air, you could create a building *.tml that hides one under the corner of a room, and that room will produce about six testificates while the player is nearby. I recommend creating a 'pub' or 'ale house' building.
urfvfh: fo some reason my generator only generates ruins :/
Change the 'weight=' lines in your minecraft/resources/walledcity/*.tml files, or delete the *.tml files for cities you never wish to see.
SurpentK: if you set your wold generation to superflat will the cities still spawn??
No; I tried this myself. I know the superflat worlds bypass normal chunk generation, and I can guess that GreatWall/WalledCity/CAruins hooks into the objects that do normal chunk generation. Maybe after the mod API arrives, there will be hooks for chunk generation in both regular and superflat worlds.
I've just updated to MC 1.1 and I was wondering if you could talk me through the cellular automota. In the Great Wall log it says:
GlobalFrequency:5.0E-4
TriesPerChunk:1
I tried changing the GlobalFrequency to 0.007, which is what I had it set to in MC 1.0, but walls were everywhere. How do I change the frequency with the new code?
-More specifically what does 5.0E-4 mean?
not sure if this is a bug but all the ruined cities spawn villagers and ghasts, and normal cities spawn baddies and villagers... really want to get rid of the ghasts spawning. lol.
5.0E-4 is computer jargon for "5.0 times ten to the power of -4", or moving the decimal point 4 places to the left.
5.0E-4 == 0.0005
... if you're getting walls "everywhere," then something else is going on because that should be a 5-in-10,000 chance of spawning a wall. Sorry I can't offer any more help; I don't have enough information about your set-up.

No error messages from ModLoader nor formivore's code. What does the java virtual machine report when you run minecraft from the console instead of clicking on an icon to start it?
When the game crashes on my computer, I can start it from a terminal window with 'java -jar ./Minecraft.jar' and it will report to that terminal window if the java virtual machine throws an exception or an error, and it will tell me where it happens. I don't know how to do that in Windows, since that computer seems to be all about pointy-clicky and hiding text from people.

I don't remember where I originally found them, but you can download them at http://roleplayga.org/mcexplore.py and http://roleplayga.org/nbt.py.

That link gives me a timeout. Does the structure look like this graveyard from Formivore's building templates repository ?
could...could you click my little egg there IT WILL DIE IF YOU DON'T! and we don't want that to happen now, do we

Look in the *.tml files for blockids "308" or "316". See http://code.google.com/p/formivore-minecraft-mods/wiki/BlockRules for a list of the special blockIDs used for monster spawners.
