Sorry, but it still doesn't work. I got further though! A window popped up when I logged in saying something about forge validation and it had a percent bar. Then the game started, showed me the mojang logo, then black screened. Also, which META-INF folder do I delete? Both or just the minecraft one?
EDIT: It's Forge. I tried from a fresh jar and only installed forge, and it black screened again. Maybe it's the wrong version?
Oh my God I am so stupid/blind!
I put the wrong build-number in the IndexFile!
I replaced it with the right version.

Im a modder/programmer! I am on Twitter and YouTube, and some more I won't tell you about!
It's still black screening. I've had a lot of trouble with forge in the past anyway.
Well...I could be crazy and drop Forge.
But then I would have to create so many hooks, that it will get pretty much impossible to update to a newer version.
So thats the reason the idea "No-Forge/No-ModLoader" was dropped.
Also, I once thaught it would be a good Idea to make a whole new Game that is just like AdventureCraft, and then had to realise that everyone would say its a clone, and its also really hard to replicate everything from Minecraft.
So thats the reason the idea "New-Game-Based-On-Minecraft-And-AdventureCraft" was dropped too.
So I will have to stick with Forge.
Sorry for the problems with Forge.
Maybe you could give me the crash-report Forge generates?
They logs are located at:
.minecraft/ForgeModLoader-client-XXX.log
.minecraft/crash-reports/XXX.log
Upload them somewhere or post them right here (if here, in spoilers please).

Hm. The you guys should try to install it manually.
You can download the IndexFile (wich contains the URL's to all needed resources) here: https://dl.dropboxus...t/indexFile.txt
Great success! It's interesting that when you change between creative gamemode and the other two gamemodes, the world refreshes. But for now, it's running fine, and is even texturepack compatible! I'll let you know of any bugs I get!
Also, very great thanks for including commands in the README file!
ALSO also, you mentioned a while back being able to use video cutscenes, I would LOVE that.
ALSO ALSO also, you wrote in one of your videos that the command batch is stored as a plain text file in the world folder, is this like the script files we used to make for AC1?
Hey So Where Do I Put The Adventurecraft Worlds So I can play them and The Talecraft.zip Wont expand so i put it in the mods folder is that correct?

First of: Please use spoilers to post crash-reports or very large text sections.
Second: AdventureCraft 1 Maps can't be loaded, because I didn't manage to convert them yet.
Third, use either the installer, and if that doesn't work, do it manually, because this error only happens if you did something wrong while installing the mod.
Installer Installation:
- Download Installer
- Execute Installer
- Save the resulting Jar in the .minecraft/bin folder or one of the many /versions/XXX/ folders.
Manual Installation:
- Download the IndexFile.
- Download all files from the URL's inside the IndexFile.
- Take the downloaded Minecraft Jar and put the downloaded Forge version into it. (all files inside the Forge Zip into the Jar)
- Take the given Forge-Minecraft Jar and put the downloaded TaleCraft into it. (all files inside the TaleCraft Zip into the Jar)
- Save the resulting Minecraft Jar in the .minecraft/bin folder or one of the many /versions/XXX/ folders.
On another note, I tried converting AC1 maps, and it's much harder than I thought.
Non-TileEntity blocks can be converted without problems, but everything else gets meesed up and is deleted by the Anvil-Map-Loader.
It just won't work whatever I do.
The main problem is the transformation of AC1 block ID's into the new ID space that goes from 1000 to 1570.
I didn't even yet think about the Item ID's inside containers!

I got it to work! All I had to do was remove the mods from my "mods" folder, as the original modloader was in there...
Well, I'll post back later after I've played it a bit!
EDIT: I haven't found any bugs, but I have no clue how to use the physics zone block. I love the darkness blocks. For some reason I could never get them to work in the old AC.
If the installer doesn't work for you, you will have to install it manually.
Mannually Install:
Step-by-Step:
1. Download all the files that are linked in the IndexFile. (In the spoiler in the header of this post)
2. Take the given Minecraft Jar and install the given Forge into it.
3. Take the given resulting jar and copy the contents of the TaleCraft Zip into it.
4. Place it somewhere where it can be executed, like:
- .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
- .minecraft/versions/XXX/XXX.jar
5. Run Minecraft

That's all I could find.
Actually, while Forge does add its own Meta-INF files, the default Mojang ones must still be removed in order for mods to load right.
Wait... do you mean Forge has it's own META-INF?
I have the bad feeling that I am deleting the Forge META-INF one too.
Let's see if I can fix that.

--- END ERROR REPORT 6d193892 ----------
First of: Please use spoilers to post crash-reports or very large text sections.

Im a modder/programmer! I am on Twitter and YouTube, and some more I won't tell you about!
Well, I'll post back later after I've played it a bit!
EDIT: I haven't found any bugs, but I have no clue how to use the physics zone block. I love the darkness blocks. For some reason I could never get them to work in the old AC.
This is exactly why I started over on my map earlier this year. I was afraid that something like this would be an issue!
AC maps probably will need to be redone entirely in either AC2 or vanilla minecraft.
I can partially convert AC1 maps now.

Cryect is probably not going to update it, so I and Snow (another user) decided to make a remake.
(We are trying to update it to Minecraft 1.5.2)
Also, I made progress on the Map conversion.
Message blocks now convert properly! (I think so)

Sounds amazing! Can't wait for the release.
Fun Fact:
Multiplayer already work's as intended.
But there are some things that won't quite work out.
On another note:
There ARE blocks that CAN'T be converted.
I didn't yet look wich one's exactly, but one of them is very important.
One of them is (I think) the camera/cutscene block.
Blocks that convert correctly for now:

Just have it delete the Meta-INF before it injects the files.
when I run the installer it says "can't acess tc.zip"
