@ jimlapbap;
You guys are a strange bunch. I PMed 3 of the posters in this thread with what needed to done to fix the no sound problem. I suggested to each they post the fix (I didn't want that thread added to my content). Not one of them was willing to inform the rest. http://www.minecraft.../#entry22990276
We (and other threads) often get persistent posters that complain bitterly over many pages about a problem. Only after the entire thread is ready to murder them do they finally admit it's a Mac.
There have to some genius level Mac users but they almost never help a fellow user. I just don't understand why.

Wasn't the sound problem for macs had to do with some outdated drivers and corrupted jar files? O.o or am I getting mixed up with something else?
hi there,
i've done everything in your installation guide to bring your singleplayercommands 1.6.2 to work.
I'm using Forge.
It doesn't work....
ExitCode 1
doesn't know what it means....
help?
does this work with forge?. sorry for posting this just wondering
Follow these steps for Forge (NOTE: WONT WORK IF YOU HAVE PLAYER API)
INSTALL FORGE AND BACKUP MCFOLDER
download the file, first we want to rename it from SinglePlayerCommands-MC1.6.2_V5.0dev.zip (THIS IS q3hardcore's version, not Simo's!) to spc-162.jar, make sure it saves as a .jar not .zip (sometimes it will still be zip so make sure its jar) , however before we do that, take out the worldedit jar from the zip file and put It somewhere safe!
Next you go into your .minecraft/libraries folder, now we make some folders, inside the libaries folder, create a folder called 'spc' (without quotes), inside that folder create another folder called 'spc' again, then inside the 2nd spc folder create another folder called '162', finally put the jar file inside the 162 folder, the final location should be like this:
.minecraft/libraries/spc/spc/162/spc-162.jar
In addition, in your mods folder, create a folder called spc and put your worldedit.jar file from earlier into this folder.
now go into your .minecraft/versions/1.6.2-Forge7.8.9(something along these lines) and open the json file
the json file should like like this
Hi Woozle (and everyone else). I'm Sarah, fairly new here still. I followed your directions to a "T" and still cannot get SPC to work. It loads Minecraft just fine, however. *sigh*
I can't think of what's causing it to not work. Every other SPC I've done has worked just fine except for this one. I've gone through it twice - just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I've been reading through multiple pages on this thread as Lou suggests but I can't seem to find the answers I need to fix it. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi, first of all, I've read the thread, with the instructions to install (the original and the Forge version).
I've tried both, and none of them worked for me.
When I installed this with Forge, I got this error when I tried to play:
Couldn't download https://www.foobar.c...162/spc-162.jar for job 'Version & Libraries'

Cause I need that mod and I'm not sure if these can get along, since they both need to modify the json file and need new profiles
Just posting this AGAIN, since you all completely IGNORED me.
I'm having trouble with this mod. I installed SPC EXACTLY the way the instructions said to do it, but Minecraft crashed anyway. The only other mods i'm running are Rei's minimap, Toomanyitems, and Modloader, ALL of which have had no problems with SPC in the past.

How can I get World Edit to work if I have the new launcher and file system that doesn't even have the bin folder? Currently the SPC itself works but it just says "WorldEdit.jar not found in .minecraft/bin - WE unavailable." I even tried making a new folder called bin in .minecraft and putting the jar in there, but it still wont work. Any idea how to get it to work?
How do you install it if you have forge already?I have multiple mods requiring forge so i can't remove forge
No i don't think it would considering Galaticraft doesn't effect any commands although i might be careful using the worldedit to move Galaticraft items
i dont think ill be using world edit to move a rocket ship.
Your problem is your problem!
I installed ModLoader (Risu's with sound patch), SPC (5.0dev), 3 additional Mods, and lastly OPtifine. All work flawlessly for me. Either you didn't install it properly or you have a conflict! Guess where the onus for solving your problem rests.
My installation procedure: http://www.mediafire...nstallation.pdf
Start with an unmodified fresh 1.6.2.jar!!! Risugami's ModLoader & patches, SPC then your other Mods one at a time after SPC to discover the conflict! TEST between each installation!
Almost every Mod ever written has a link on page 1, post 1. This one is no different! I have an additional link or two here:

It's much more difficult with the new MC Launcher.
Please try my installation procedure above (torak11). If using Forge, I haven't figured that out either without MagicLauncher.

READ # 11 (torak11) of my installation procedure several times. It isn't any more difficult than creating a new folder! Where you create it depends on what SPC you're using. READ #11!.

Hmm.. That's weird last time I did this (2 days ago) it seemed to work. Looks like the server that I directed to in the JSON isn't responding anymore, will look into it.
@LoRaM100 I meant the standalone player API mod for forge version, is not compatible with SPC at the moment due to the fact, that player API has to be loaded after SPC somehow.
My only bet is to make SPC able to run in the mods folder and detect if Player API is installed and load it before the API is loaded.
@ ZshredderX13
MagicLauncher on a Forge modified MC works, I just don't get warm fuzzies about how it performs. Thanks.
Lou
I don't at the moment need Forge anyway.
@ q3hardcore;
How badly would it impact your SPC to offer a version without PlayerAPI?
Just looking for a way to solve this for Forge-ites.
Lou
please hurry with the installer i cant do it manuly ( i know how but 7zip and winzip and winrar and stuff like that give viruses) and i reallly want this again
I really doubt any commercial archive viewer carries any malware.
The problem occurs when improperly downloading from AdF.ly or similar sites. q3 has a link to MediaFire that I swear on a stack of UCMJs is virus free. My links are also Virus free.
Safe link to 7-Zip: http://www.7-zip.org/
SPC Manual Installation Instruction with links all the way back to 1.4.7: http://www.mediafire...nstallation.pdf
This site has changed their policy to the point it's difficult to impossible to download with Chrome. I use IE and disable the pop-up blocker. Once that is done the following is a safe venue. AdF.ly
On page 1, post 1 of this thread, click the preferred download link.
It connects to AdF.ly, DO NOTHING; watch the timer in the upper right count down to zero and change to "SKIP AD". The only thing you EVER click at AdF.ly is that SKIP AD! All the other crap is there to lure you into something you don't want. Don't be Charlie Tuna and bite.
That doesn't help, also, i use a PC, NOT a mac.

now go into your .minecraft/versions/1.6.2-Forge7.8.9(something along these lines) and open the json file
the json file should like like this
so what we do is we add this line
put that line right above the net.minecraftforge line so it'll look like this
now save the json file and start up the MClauncher, go into your forge profile and hit edit profile
now select JVM arguments add this line
The total line should be:
Xmx1G -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true with a space inbetween XMX and DFML lines
and this is basically how you install optifine if you know how to do that just with different names for folders and stuff
