I'm using the read me.txt for manually but on the last step i dont get...like do i just put worldedit.jar in the bin or do i go searching for files and put those in the bin?
Hi, I just downloaded this mod and it doesn't seem to work for me! Well, partly. I'm running on a Windows Vista, and I downloaded the 1.5.1 version of SPC into my 1.5.1 Minecraft. At first, I downloaded it manually along with Too Many Items. I deleted META-INF, copied SPC first, followed by Too Many Items files. I also added the "WorldEdit.jar" into the bin folder of Minecraft. When I entered the world, all the commands seemed to work (i.e., "//copy" "/clearclipboard", "//wand"), and so did TMI. I saw the little, "SPC Commands working" and "World Edit working" messages pop up in the chat, so I knew those were fine.
However, when I got the wand (wooden hatchet) and left and right clicked on blocks, nothing seemed to happen. Normally a message would appear in the chatbox, but I saw nothing there. I checked all my settings for the chat visibility and such, but they were all normal. So I figured it must've been some sort of glitch, so then I selected what I needed to select (without the messages still) and typed "//copy" into the chatbox. I came up with the "Nothing is selected in the clipboard" message, as if I hadn't even done anything with the wand. So, I just typed "//wand" and as usual I got the wooden hatchet. I tried again, but to no avail; the same message and problems appeared.
I tried the same thing with Force Restarting Minecraft and doing the download again, but I got the same results. I did it again, but removing Too Many Items files, and deleting META-INF and such. Again, nothing with the wand. I instead tried the automatic installation instead to see if that would work. I followed all the video instructions and it wasn't too difficult. I went into my Minecraft world again (Singleplayer) and tried the wand once more, but again with no different results. I even tried the "//wand" trick again, exited and entered out of my world (and Minecraft itself), and even tried downloading it again a few more times.
I thought I should also add that this Singleplayer map has been around for quite some time, probably ever since 1.3. A few days ago back on the 1.5 update, I got the 1.5 version of this mod and followed all the steps and it worked with no problem, even the wand. It only seems that when I got the update and tried again, problems started arising. Nothing seems to work! I was wondering if it was a problem with my Minecraft, my computer, or what else?
Thank you for your time, and I hope I can sort it out soon! If you need any more details, just ask me and I can probably give you information.
World Edit is really glitchy... Half the time I click a block nothing will happen. Then lots of times when I make a selection and turn it into blocks a completely different selection is made and isn't even close to what I actually selected.
What's up? (SPC Worldedit has always been glitchy for me since day one. The multiplayer one is flawless though. How come?)

Both the read me and page 1, post 1 are in error.
Manual Installation Instructions
Go to the *.minecraft/bin directory (start; run; then typing %appdata% works) and make a copy of the minecraft.jar somewhere.
Using 7-Zip or an equally capable archive viewer open the minecraft.jar (in the *.minecraft\bin).
Delete the META-INF folder.
Drag and drop ALL the *.class files, and any folders (2 & 1 respectively, when this instruction was written) found inside the Mod, in the minecraft.jar (Caution: don't drop them in a folder in the minecraft.jar).
Close the minecraft.jar.
Copy ALL the *.jar files found inside the Mod to the *.minecraft\bin directory (the directory where the minecraft.jar can be found. IMPORTANT! To restate the above; drag and drop the WorldEdit.jar in the *.minecraft\bin NOT the minecraft.jar. If using a Launcher or Patcher YOU must manually do this step or the WorldEdit Commands will likely not operate!
It used to work on mine but now it doesn't and i get some new commands but not all of them and I tried twice and both times i got some commands but not all any help would be aprecated.
Note:I should've posted this before 1.5 came out but this is still ok since xycraft is still for 1.4.7 but...
Ok, I'm not sure if someone has posted this already but this mod(for 1.4.7) and the latest xycraft aren't compatible. How you may ask, well making a xycraft tank with this mod installed(happens after right-clicking the valve) derps your inventory and moving anything in the derped inventory crashes you and tank never forms.
World Edit is really buggy. I hope it gets fixed. Sadly I will be uninstalling until it is fixed. (Only reason I'm uninstalling is because WorldEdit is all I need).
Other than that it's a great mod!
EDIT: I also want to know if it's just me with this problem. Please reply to this post if it's happening to you too!
I did the auto-install so that still doesn't explain why it doesn't work for me.
(Selections are messed up and sometimes when I try to make a selection with the wand nothing will happen).
The two of you have different problems.
He put the WorldEdit.jar in the wrong place and WE doesn't work at all.
I think you are on a flat world and should be using hpos1 & hpos2.
Both of these have been addressed numerous times, (his once or twice per page!).
A search and some reading by both of you probably would have answered your questions.

READ the manual installation instructions on page 1, post 1!
Pay attention to where the WorldEdit.jar belongs.
Then post an apology to simo_415.
