Copy pasting upside-down stairs places them "upside-up".
I don't know if that bgu has already been reported, just hope it gets fixed soon, has I did all my builds on seperate maps and would like to unite them - without having to place about idk how many upside-down stairs :/
What mods you have installed? I know from experience those commands won't work with 4096 block IDS Non-forge. It seems to change some of the default IDs for tools. So it also breaks /give diamond sword you have to use the new block ID number. (never tried forge version) but yea. Little more info would be helpful. "these don't work" isn't much to go off of when it works perfect for other people.
it work with forge just fine as far as I noticed. I have forge build 152 and several other mods, including player api and spc player api patch.
Oh, another bug, I'm not sure who provides that patch, but it brakes the arrow key up utility, where you can search previously used commands.
it doesn't work for me. i used the automatic installer, on a mac, it said installation sucseful i went on, it said something about single player commands but it went away and now it doesnt work. the game loads fine and i can play it, i just cant use any mods. any ideas why?
WOW i love this mod <3 ! i used the same kinda thing on skyrim and was so eager to try it in a minecraft setting. Helped so much with really big builds as well as my most recent which was a under water dome ( no damage ). Great mod that anyone even those who don't wanna "cheat" to much will love.
I have a question about editing the time in the game. I want to be able to change the length of the day/night cycle in my game (SSP).
I did a search through this thread & read a ton of posts, and a lot of people talk about these two commands: - Set and get the time within minecraft.
- Sets a period of time (HH:MM format), this will make minecraft always within this time.
...but most of the posts have to do with trying to make it permanently daytime in the game, or manually making it change from night to day like with "/time day", and that's not what I want.
I want there to be both day & night, since I have needs for both. But what bugs me is short a day is; it's like I go outside when the sun rises, get ready to do some construction, go inside to get some materials, come back out to continue working... and before I know it the sky is dark & the moon is up. It's real annoying when it interrupts my plans because I can't safely work oustide when mobs are spawning, or even if it's just because I'm doing something that I need full daylight in order to see clearly, so I have to either go inside & sleep, or do something else until the next dawn.
I think one or two people posted asking if it was possible to speed up the length of a day, but I didn't see if there were any answers given. And what I want is to slow time down. Basically make it so that the "world" takes more time to rotate, so the sun will be out for much longer between when it rises & when it sets, every day. I don't want to enter a command every single time night falls inconveniently, I just want to change a setting once and have it stay that way until/unless I change it again (like how if I use setspeed, my speed stays at what I change it too unless I change it again).
It would be really convenient for day to last longer, for when I have a big outdoor construction project to work on, or even just a lot of harvesting to do; there was a time when I was gathering wood for a somewhat remote base, and I had to go inside to be safe & sleep at least 4 times before I had a tiny cluster of trees all chopped down)... also would be helpful for when I need to travel to another base that's far away from where I'm currently at & don't want to encounter many enemies enroute (even moreso because I'd be far away from my spawn point then, wherever it would be).
is there a command that can do this? If either the /time or /timeschedule commands have this ability, then I don't know how to read it just from what's displayed here. As far as I can tell they only edit *what the current time is*, but not the overall rate at which time passes.

just use /time speed 0. 0 being a multiple of normal time, so 1 = normal, 2 = 2x normal, etc. this keeps the clock from advancing while you work, but be careful this also affects everything that rely on timing ticks like water flowing, plants growing, redstone circuits, etc. so remember to reset time when you need things to move.

Now that you've suggested it, I'll go try it out & see if it works; I didn't even know what range of numbers I could try until I got your reply. But I don't really want to stop time, just slow it down and maybe keep it slowed down. So that means I'm looking to set the speed somewhere between 0 and 1. How much flexibility do I have with the numbers? Can I put in decimals, like say, /time speed 0.5, or even 0.8 if I just want a slight increase in the length of the daily cycle?
*EDIT* I tried it, and it didn't accept decimals. Therefore it's not possible to set a speed that's slower than regular but not stopped entirely. *sadface* So if I use this command then I'm going to have to use it as a thing I toggle on & off every time manually; it's probably easier to just do /time day whenever I feel like it.
you should tell us how to download single player commands
You create a brand new Mod, think it's FANTASTIC, and want desperately to share it with everyone on planet Earth.
What page and post number do you suppose it might be???
Where would you put installation instructions? When you find the Installation Instructions READ them!!! Not everything goes into the MC.jar.
When will this be compatible for 1.3?
I want spawners in my 1.3 maps!
When it is!!! Hounding simo about an update when MC hasn't updated is not only rude, it's a violation of the rules!!! LAST warning!!!
Here's a thought... Once MC does update don't update your game until ALL the Mods you use have either updated or said they won't update any longer. It'll make everyone's life much more enjoyable!!!
I've downloaded the first link on perfferd and when ever i try to open the file with jar it pops up with an error say could not locate file. Any help?
Cheers,
Awqard
P.S Cant spell
If the download ends in .jar (automatic - neither MC or the MC.jar can be active/open), just double click it (or right click, open). If it ends in .zip (manual), READ the Installation Instructions.
does anyone knows how to dissable enderman teleport or dissable them at all!!!!!!!!!! i cant take it any more!!!!!!!! im playing skyblock map, i made a mob killing chamber thingy, i accidentally left mc to work for an hour, when i came back map was like nuked or something... can anyone tell me how to stop this griefing party?????...God they fcking annoying :(((((((((((
really love this mod but it does get annoying doing a survival at the start using a wooden axe since the positions with world edit oh well you cant really stop that ive gotten used to it
Wooden Axe Change WE wand
The Wooden Axe is the WorldEdit (WE) wand. When you left click with it WE expects you to perform a second action. WE is a plugin and not part of Single Player Commands (SPC).
Command lists for SPC and WE can be found here: Command Lists .
To stop this you can:
1. Stop using the Wooden Axe.
A Stone Axe (cobblestone in place of planks):
Lasts longer
Works better
Conserves wood
Uses an almost worthless resource (cobblestone)
2. Change the WE wand to a different tool. I changed the wand long ago from a wooden axe(271) to a diamond hoe(293).
(my path; yours may differ) C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\.minecraft\mods\sppcommands\ worldedit.properties - wand-item=293 (was 271).
3. You can toggle off the wand selection with the //toggleeditwand command. Please read the WE command list (page 1, post 1) for a full description.

Did you READ the Command List?
The Command you want starts with an "e".
It may not continue after MC closes. I use /startup macro open (contains the command you must get off your bottom and find and about 4 more).
Go to the top of this page, in the upper right corner you'll find your avatar. Below that and slightly to the left is a search function that's preset to search this topic (this forum - it's true for every forum you visit).
Boil your question down to one or two words and type them into the search window, hit enter, read a few of the returned answers and you'll probably find a good answer to your question. Here’s a plus, answers are instantaneous.
Is this incompatible with Forge for everyone else? I'm fairly certain the problem I'm getting is because of this being incompatible with Forge, but if it's just me, that's worrying.
I have a problem using the //setbiome command on Minecraft 1.2.5, every time i select the spot using the //pos1 and //pos2 commands then use //setbiome then the biome i want it says:
Please report this error: [See console]
java.lang.NullPointerException: null
I will be away overseas from 27th July through to 6th August. This is the same time that 1.3 is expected to be released. 1.3 severely affects this mod and it will be several days after I return before I expect anything to be released. Be sure to subscribe to this thread or the spcmod youtube channel to be alerted when the update comes out. Sorry for the inconvenience, it comes down to bad timing.
I don't wanna sound noobish, but every time I right click, I create like 5 blocks, and I can't stop it, I think I did a command gone wrong, how do I undo this? And by undo, I mean how do I remove that command?

(always quote me if replying to a post of mine or I might just not notice your reply)
If you used "Force Update" YOU removed the SPC Mod.
YOU must reinstall it for it to work.
