Not sure about the java version, and for a bit more information those red letters are in the mo' creatures thing that appears when you hit esc. The world loads perfectly, just no mobs but they spawn in with spawn eggs fine.
It might be java, or I just did something wrong I didn't realize..? I guess i'll wait and see if Bloodshot sees this and knows what is happening. Thanks for trying to help though.
ok GUI being WIP does not mean GUIAPI
it means the in game GUI to adjust the spawn settings is WIP
it had to be rewritten due to the loss of GUIAPI
give it time
and while you wait, learn the MOC commands to adjust the spawns or adjust the config files directly

I went home for lunch and thought about it and something I have not been saying struck me.
Lets get medieval on this problem and fix it, step by step instructions
If you are using any resource packs, open minecraft, open the folder and save them off somewhere.
If you ever log into server go to your server selections, edit each one and write down the IP address
The reason to do those 2 things is because what I am going to suggest will wipe everything out, also make sure you know your Minecraft login and password cause you are about to lose those from memory as well.
Go to windows search and type in %appdata% find the roaming folder, and inside make a backup copy of the .minecraft folder
After you made a backup, delete the .minecraft folder ( this will wipe out everything )
Now launch minecraft and log in, that will download 1.7.4 or whatever is the current version of minecraft.
Create a test world, and then log out
Now launch minecraft again and edit your profile to use version 1.7.2 ( because that is the version that Forge will edit ), it will download 1.7.2, create a test world ( fully creating a test world is an unnecessary step but I do it anyway )
Log out, close minecraft
Run the forge installer suggested for version 1.7.2, install client
Run Minecraft and notice that there is now a Forge profile, It iwll ask you for your user name and password again, ignore that and hit the play button next to your user login name
Create a test world using the forge profile ( also probably unessesary but I do it anyway )
Log out of minecraft and close the program
Search in windows again for %appdata%, open roaming, open .minecraft and open the Mods folder
Copy the zip files for Mo Creatures and Custom Mob spawner to that folder
Close all your windows and launch Minecraft under the Forge profile
That should work
( this is a fresh install of both Minecraft and Mo creatures, everything is wiped out, that is why you make a backup of .minecraft )
Thank you, I will try that. Just a quick question because I don't want to screw anything up. How do you make a backup file of the .Minecraft? Is it just copying it somewhere, or something else?
Last thing I need is to mess up and loose Minecraft.

What is the importance of creating a test world? Basically I already have forge installed, but why should I go to 1.7.2 and create a test world? I already have worlds for my Minecraft.
The whole test world and starting with a clean version of Minecraft is confusing me. I can get other mods to work, so its not just mods in general.
Are you supposed to unzip the folders you get from downloading? My brother didn't unzip his and everything went fine, he says he didn't do anything different from what I did.

did you get CMS to go with MOC? if not you can't disable the mobs
if you did, just use the command line for disabling them
btw, which version are you using? (MC, MOC, CMS)
1.7.2 GUI is WIP
I am using the latest version for 1.6.4. Yes i got CMS, but what does MOC mean?
No I never even installed the GUI at all, as I am running a server for a small group of players it was worthless to me anyway
That is really odd, I create a new sever every couple of weeks ( testing forge updates and Deve updates to Mo creatures ) I have never had any problem like that at all
I dont have anything in red text... you might have to wait for Bloodshot as I have no idea what that is. ( I am just trying to help, I am no expert )
are you running the latest and greatest 64bit version of Java?
I'm using JAVA SE Development Kit 7. When I had the simple 64bit my computer couldn't find it using "cmd" (it said i didn't have java in the computer but I did) and when making a server I wasn't able to open minecraft with a batch file. It was such a hassle to find an answer to that problem... but yeah I'm trailing off here.
Someone said 1.7.2 was WIP so I'm guessing this is where the errors come from then?
Hi!
I have a problem... when i want to create any item of this mod it appears for 1 second in the box result from crafting table :S and i cant grab it
Im running the last build of MOC 6.2.0 DEV R1 and forge-1.7.2-10.12.0.1029,i think this can be the problem, but the version of my server required this version (last build of MCPC+)
anyone else is happening this?
i will auto quote me...
i fix this issue, it was permission problem, im using Bpermissions and when i add " drzhark.mocreatures.command.CommandMoCreatures" node it start working perfectly.
someone know a page where i can see all permissions used by Mocreatures ??
My problem with this mod is that I do not want the golems spawning (and I'm iffy on ogres) because they don't play nice with my buildings and other mods' structures. I've gone into the config file and changed golems spawning from true to false but that didn't stop them. So then I went back in and changed the all the numbers of frequency, etc to 0. That didn't help either (nor should it have been necessary). It seems to me that simply changing it to false should have stopped them from spawning but it doesn't.
Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.

Welewa, do you have Custom Mob Spawner (CMS) installed? If you do, then they have to be turned off for each world individually in the CMS configs. If you have done that, or do not have CMS, then it is most likely that you are seeing left overs that have not been killed yet. For example, on the original server, we had golems and ogres turned on at one time, trying to make the game harder, but we found that not only did most players really not like them, but some used them to grief others, so we turned them off again several months ago. That was in August. Just 3 days ago I wondered into an area that had not been explored in quite some time and there was an ogre.
First off, I feel like an idiot.
Second, what do you mean "just use the command line for disabling them"
Are you meaning in the chat box? or what? sorry for all the questions. I just really like this mod and hate not being able to use it.

Try typing this:
/cms canspawn MoCEntityOgre false
There is a user guide in the Custom Mob Spawner folder that has the commands and the names of the entity files can be found in DrZharks MoCreatures/drzhark/mocreatures/entity folder so that you can disable others.
How do we get to the in-game GUI for the spawner? Setting up spawns in new biomes is impossible now without it. Have to keep reopening the game which takes centuries, etc..

You can change it back after you install forge.
I am only sugguesting you start with a fresh copy of minecraft in case something got messed up doing what you were doing before

just your config and mods folders
the rest doesn't matter that much
though the only thing you need to keep is your saves folder, that has all the worlds in it
the launcher will re'dl everything you are missing

It's definitely not an ID conflict, I've taken care to ensure NO modded items, blocks, biomes or the like share any IDs.
you aren't using any type of ID resolver are you? cause if you are, that can screw things up
