WHy the does this say 1.4.2 but require 1.3.2? Or have you just not updated anything in the post at all?
Because I've followed all of the ing guides and nothing works, it's really frustrating trying to work through people's crap coding just to experience the stumbled-upon gold they have (were it as easy as making my own I would)
The specific problem is the "mods" folder simply doesn't exist
Not anywhere, nowhere (I've followed the convoluted instructions to the letter, there is nothing I can have possibly have done wrong)
Someone tell me who screwed up and how so I can actually enjoy these mods (frankly I'd make my own but I don't want to be snooping other people's work for models and going through hours and hours of repetitive garbage that could be easily avoided by some organization)
You want help? Try a more polite tone. I'll tell you who screwed up: YOU. Thousands of other people follow those same instructions and have no problems getting everything to work.
Read. This mod is available for both 1.3.2 and 1.4.2, so make sure you're downloading the right files.
If you're saying the "mods" folder doesn't even exist, then you failed at the very first step- installing Forge. What version of Minecraft are you using and what version of Forge are you using? Are you running Minecraft with only Forge installed at least once before trying to add anything else? Run MC with Forge once and the mods folder is generated.
Next time, just say "hey, I'm trying to install this mod but I can't find the 'mods' folder even after following the instructions" instead of spewing vitriol.
Gaaaagh. I just spend 2 and a half hours trying to breed for a cow horse, and I finally did it (Breeding a 3 tier horse that I don't know the name of with a dark brown horse, right?) and the zebra isn't running from me but it isn't accepting the apple I try to give it either!!
Gaaaaah so frustrating for a video game!!!
Edit: I let it out of its cage and it started running from me... apparently I breeded wrong. Good thing I didn't mess up on the earlier stages, all I did was not breed the horse I did have with a black horse... should be good hopefully...
Possible bug: I can't access the saddle bag on a donkey when right-clicking on it with a key. (yes, I've already given it a chest). Am I supposed to press a different button to open the inventory, or is it just bugged?
Thanks for answering. I tried right-clicking, but all I did was get on the horse, haha.
Sorry i forgot to say, i did install everything in order, and what goes in the mods folder is in there.
i will try again just because, and ill get back to this thread

yeah, zebras aren't taking apples from me either....
Oh yeah. That. I started reading it....and just never finished. ._.
EDIT: Went back and finished reading it. Didn't mean to report things everyone already knew about. Derp.
Although zebras not taking apples isn't on the list.
Like i said, i tried mo creature with AND without chococraft and all other unnecessary mods. still the same result. As for the change vanilla mob spawns, i messed with that plenty of times with no changes.
Sorry, wasn't clear you were saying you also tested just GUI API, CMS, and Mo' C alone.
I took a look at your mod list again and I apologize for overlooking this the first time: try updating to Forge 6.0.1.355. I was on Forge 341 myself but had issues loading MC after installing Mo' C; updating to 355 fixed my issue so maybe it'll fix yours.
If it doesn't:
Do the chocobo spawn rates seem normal or do they seem unusually low or high? Have you tried raising the max spawn amount option? If you set your render distance to the max, can you see Mo' C mobs spawning in the distance?
These questions may not be helpful for you or allow me to give you further help, but they may be helpful to Dr. Z if he manages to see your problem.

I'll try updating my forge again. As for the Chocobos, they spawn in medium sized groups at about 20-30 chunks apart. and i also play on far render distance, and i took some time to look around while standing in one spot (to let the chunks load) and then i look everywhere around me to find mobs and of course like before i had no luck. i move closer to see if they would appear when i was near their spawn (or where i think they spawn xD) and still nothing.

FWIW, I run the Chocobo mod and do NOT have this same problem.
I installed this mod for my daughter to play on v 1.3.2 . Got everything working.. the very next day minecraft updated, of course. I see the mod has now been updated to work with 1.4.2 .. can someone please tell me if there is a specific item we need to update, or do we need to start from scratch and delete bin and redownload everything?

Yup. New version of Minecraft, install new version of Forge (6.0.1.355), new version of GuiAPI in your jar, new version of Custom Mob Spawners and Mo Creatures in your mods folder. Old worlds should still work fine.

I'll test that right now.

Can anyone explain this to me? (using a pretty high end rig so it's not the added loading)
