Ask Dr. Zhark... =) I've requested compatibility with mods that add new biomes like a bunch of other people, but he hasn't replied. I don't think it's a priority for him unfortunately.
I get the exact same conflicts also but it does load (I am using Buildcraft). I must admit I didn't notice much in the way of wildlife as well but didn't spend much time checking. I will check again later.
I'm also using Buildcraft and am seeing the same ID conflicts since upgrading to 3.6.1. My gears work fine thankfully. But I guess that means you can't craft certain Mo'Creatures items anymore, or maybe mob drops are borked. Try seeing if sharks drop gears instead of teeth now!?
In any case, now that Mo'Creatures uses Forge, I really think putting item IDs in the configuration file is in order, since nobody can expect the 3800 range to be free when people can have 30 mods running at the same time.

I have this mod running with Buildcraft and a bunch of other mods, no item ID conflicts here, most Forge mods seem to auto resolve item IDs and find open slots where block IDs still need tweaking in the config files.
Add Hedge hogs!!! if u get near it, it gets all spiky but away its spikes are all down.
They should drop spikes and u should be able to make traps with them or make a Blow darts with them!!!

Hey Dr. Z, taming Bigcats still doesn't work. I tried both raw pork and raw fish (heard the cub eat it), right clicked it with a medallion and nothing happened.
I have an idea, I know there have been many bird requests lately. But I thought maybe you could add a phoenix, they spawn near lava are fire/lava proof. Perhaps they could be tamable with something (I was thinking fire charges)

1. I can't tame Big Cats cubs in smp. I give them raw meat repeatedly, they eat it, but I can't tame them with a medallion.
2. I get this error on the server console when a manta-ray bucks me off, and I get kicked from the server:

6. Ostrich babies will only show a change of feather color after relogging, even when fully grown.
7. Tamed ostrich babies will attack you if you hold wheat in your hand (not sure if a feature).

I did the same, and it works fine for me. I even tested if it was working by turning easy horse breeding on and that worked. Is that error on the server or the client?
I am using 3.61 server and client and I still get all those bugs. HUGE Scorpion babies bug is fixed though.

Does anybody have a server? I cant seem to find any. ;/
I have a server, but its small. Only 8 players max. And since I normally run a bukkit server, there aren't any protections to speak of, so I'm only letting a few people on.
I wish you'd make it so that either tamed female ostriches can't lay eggs without males, or perhaps you can make a similar breeding process that horses have.
Because I spent a lot of time making big enclosures for the males and females, but even though the males are separated and far way from the females, the females are popping out eggs constantly. And if I don't grab them, I end up getting a bunch of wild ostriches from the females. :c
With that said though, I'm glad you made a quick patch to fix all the problems the last one had. :3
Edit: But of course if it was possible to tame wild ostriches that tamed ostriches produced, then it would make my life much easier. c:
I can't seem to get this mod to work. I installed everything correctly, put the two .zips in the mods folder and I already deleted the META-INF folder in my .jar. Minecraft boots up fine, but when I try to play a map the screen goes black.

Are you using the updated version? I know he fixed the ostrich attack bug, at least.

Looks like you just need to leave changevanillaspawns set to false for now. :/

I turned off creepers, lol.
Umm, that mod is not multiplayer so it wouldnt help.
