I have a bug and its about MultiMC 4 for Mac 88 x64 (Macbook Mid-2010 with Mountain Lion). It says it can not find macosx_natives.jar when trying to install 13w02a. Here is the report: 22:24:05: can't open file '/Users/lachlaneavestaff/Downloads/MultiMC.app/Contents/Resources/Instances/13w02a/minecraft/bin/macosx_natives.jar' (error 2: No such file or directory). PLEASE FIX!
I got similar error when i change version to 13w02b in Windows
Here's the log
11:09:34: can't open file 'instances\Snapshot Test\minecraft\bin\windows_natives.jar' (error 0: the operation completed successfully.)
11:09:34: File 'instances\Snapshot Test\minecraft\bin\windows_natives.jar' couldn't be removed (error 0: the operation completed successfully.)
MultiMC freeze after the error(I need to force close) but minecraft works properly(the version changed to 13w02b too) after restarting
The server for forkk.net is down at the moment. I can't do anything but wait for my service provider to resolve the problem. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
Icons placed into "MultiMC\icons" should just show up for use, or at least not complain when "added" via the add button (gripes cause it tries to copy the file onto itself)
Instance folders show be renamed when renaming an instance, Creating a "Current Snapshot", then later renaming to "13w01a" leaves the folder name as "Current Snapshot".
I have a suggestion: make an option to add a desktop shortcut icon for any instance you choose that will automatically launch the instance when you click the icon. (I was thinking about this because it would be great on the new Windows 8 start screen)
Love MultiMC been using it forever, scared me today though I was making a better than wolves world and when I named it "Better than Wolves" the icon changed to Herobrine
Why won't it let me force update my minecraft? I need 1.4.7 for the latest version of mo creatures
Force update just re-downloads the selected version. If you want to update, right click the instance and change its version to 1.4.7.

This was added a while ago. If you right click an instance, there should be an option to make a desktop shortcut in the menu.
Hey, me and my brother (different laptops, both 64bit Windows 7) have been having an issue with the updater. Firstly, if I exit the update available window trying to run an isntance results in the Windows error sound (loud, makes you want to punch your screen) and nothign else happens (Minecraft doesn't open or anything). And if I try to update the updater crashes (this application does not support 64bit OSes).

No answer, still so can this be made compatible with mcpatcher?
Install forge for basic support for hd textures, and use optifine for full support. Why is the mcnostalgia broken (I know it's not your problem, but why?)? Am I blind and can't read a forum post?
I think I found a bug when importing/copying instances on Windows:
I have MultiMC in \Games\Minecraft and Instances folder is \Games\instances (absolute path)
When importing/copying all files are saved in \Games\Minecraft\Games\instances
Changing the Instances path to be relative ( ..\instances ) fixed the issue
NOTE: the issue is only related to import/copy, with both path (absolute and relative) the instances are configured and run correctly
I just downloaded MultiMC because I have been looking for an easy way to downgrade for AGES. I was able to go back to 1.2, but I want as far as early alpha. When I select one of the MCNostalgia versions, it always fails. I tried a lot of different versions and not one worked. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

My setup is having these folders inside the mods folder but it's a pain to exit out of them every time I install a different mod format.

And how do i get MCNostalgiaEDIT: Now i get "Cannot download minecraft.patch"
Mine freezes too. It is really annoying and have to run the Force Quit window on Mac!

Am I being completely blind here or is there no such an option ? (Unless it's not integrated to the OSX version)
Oh, no it's only really possible on Windows. OS X doesn't support shortcuts like that.
Awesome!
Any chance to have the shortcut support in future updates ?
