The opposing one ( -orientation w ) puts the spawn point tag at the top of the screen in limbo. since there's no spawn point in the labels.txt I assume this may be a bug.
Your website seems to be down, but I've tested it myself and I'm getting the same thing. It's absolutely bizarre, particuarly since it worked fine in previous versions. I'll try and fix it as soon as possible.

You can remove/edit that buggy spawn label by editing the label.js file with notepad. I personally edited in all my server's labels by doing that.
Alright, I found the bug. Turns out mcmapDZ was saving the spawn coordinates as strings rather than numbers. I'll release the fix along with everything else, if you don't mind waiting.

Yea sorry, after posting on here I started fiddling with a proxy server and it conflicted with my web server (DOH!) Back up now.
But yea, no problem waiting. Knowledge of the spawn point's not very important to me anyway.
I am rendering "large" worlds and I was wondering if there was a way to only render what is newely created on the world. If this is an option I am just missing please point this out I will be forever greatful. I have been rendering all day (the past ~8 hours).

If this is not in the tool can it be integrated?
Regards and thanks for the tool.
Unfortunately not, sorry. It's possible (you would render each region separately, and combine them into a single image), but I don't have the skills to do.

I have some coding experience just not java I believe that you posted the source code? If I have some free time I may look into it just don't like encroaching on others works.

Thanks, it's no problem, however I don't think my source code will help. The approach is completely different.
Why is it that I'm only able to add up to 15 lables? I really want to label all my stations around my world.
BTW, thanks for this super awesome and fast map tool!
That's currently a limitation of the GUI, as I couldn't find a way to keep the columns synchronised correctly when scrolling. I'll definitely try and fix it
I seem to be having a rather weird problem. I'm running V0.46 with a 1.2.4 world and when I try to use custom block/foliage colours, it renders all grass and trees as being grey instead of green... I have now tried rendering around twenty different maps, using slightly different settings, older terrain.png, grasscolor etc, but it just keeps making them grey. Could anybody tell me if I'm doing something wrong or is there a bug?
Since the biome update the grass and foliage colours have been grey in the terrain.png, as Minecraft colours them depending on the biome. mcmap does have the ability to apply the colour too, however biome support has been broken since the Anvil update, so the colours aren't applied, resulting in grey grass and trees. You can fix this by colouring the textures in the .png yourself, or manually creating a colours.txt file.

I just downloaded the latest version. I'd used mcmapDZ before the Anvil update, and it always worked fine for me, but now trying the new version, with no options other than day & night I got this error with the GUI:
Argument cannot be Nothing. Parameter name: file.
Then I tried it with the Command Prompt version, and every time it said:
Error: Given path does not contain a Minecraft world.
I'm using exactly the same path I used with the old version.
Just found the "labels.txt" file and will be adding the coordinates manually.
Wouldn't it be easier just having one column with the label name, instead of having all the columns? Just a wild suggestion. I have only been coding PHP, so I don't really know if it's an easy fix or not
This is actually a very good idea, and not something I thought of. I will definitely do this, cheers
You could you add an option to show coordinates based on mouse location on the map, would be very helpful.
Yeah, this is something I want to do, but I really have no idea how it's done. It's going to be a requirement for maintaining the position when switching between orientations anyway, so I'll have to figure it out eventually.

0.47 has been released! I'm still in the middle of a huge overhaul, but there were a few bugs that had to be fixed in 0.46 and I thought it might be better to release the fixes sooner rather than later
Changes:
- HDmake cache files are now by default stored in the same directory as mcmapDZ rather than the TEMP folder on the computer. This should alleviate some memory/disk space issues.
- Added '-cache' switch to the CLI, essentially allows you to choose where mcmapDZ should store any temporary/cache files (from mcmap, HDmake, etc)
- Fixed a bug in the template that caused labels to display incorrectly in any orientation other than east.
- You can now add more than 15 labels in the GUI!
- Updated to the latest version of mcmap. I'm not entirely sure what has changed, but you can check the mcmap thread for info.
I might've missed a few things, but hopefully this helps anyway. As always, you can find the download in the OP.

Is there a easy to upload site I can use just to quickly upload and share the render for a short time without having to use Dropbox or sign up for something? I just want to upload and go with the render. Another thing I could/would like to do is somehow have it so the render is saved as one solid image I could upload to Imgur or something and just share the link from there, is that possible?
Wow. This worked really well for my server (about a 1.2 GB map). When I just used the normal mcmap it worked but created images so massive that it would often crash the photo viewer. This method creates a much more manageable end product. Thank you for your work!

It would be great if the co-ordinates are displayed as well. A simple mouseover display in the corner of co-ordinates of where your
mouse is pointing. This will help in game to find an area you are viewing in a map.
