Anyway, very sorry for the ridiculously long delay. Sometimes I wonder why runecraft fans don't hate me...
Well, I've had about 5 rune ideas... so hopefully I can throw a bunch of them in. If my plans pan out, there will be some updates regarding mobs and a new rune or two involving them. There will be some new arrow runes, and possibly some new automation runes. Admins will also be able to override tiers in disabled-runes.txt-- the first step to the rune config language planned for a later release. And, if we're lucky, maybe even some new combat runes.

Well, something came up and I didn't have nearly as much time as I thought I would, but I did manage to finish the first mob rune and add the tier override system, so that in combination with zeerix's updates are definitely enough to release tonight. If I have time tomorrow I'll continue doing what I'd planned to do tonight. Eventually I still hope to do the runeconfig system too. Compiling and distributing stuff now.

after having installed it i get this from my server and it wont allow connections : /
terribly sorry if this is non descriptive i have mo creatures and industrials craft aswell as too many items just figure id mention it incase its somthing on your end <p.s ive used runecraft on more than 10+ updates and never ran into a problem so i do know how to install it hehe :biggrin.gif:> ty vm for the update

yes they should all be the latest im going to remove the mo creatures one in a few hours its just probobly that one was a test version so once its removes i will retest and let you know :tongue.gif: <ive got it narrowed down to industrialcraft and too many items <including their prerequisites > >

I have had some problems with trying to get the pressure sensor to work. Followed the guide in the wiki using four cobblestone as a signature and right clicked on it and got the activation message. Made a teleporter right next to it and made sure it worked and then an automatic designator using 4 cobblestone as a signature and using it on the teleporter. I haven't managed to get the pressure sensor to work still and wondering what I am doing wrong. Version is 2.9.1
If you destroy any block of the rune, you get the message "<rune> destroyed" and then it CANNOT be reactivated in that location.
Is it possible to redefine the tier of "cracked stone brick" and "mossy stone brick", both of which can only be obtained from fortresses, without also redefining the tier of "stone brick" which can easily be made from stone blocks on a crafting table?
Try increasing the tier of the pressure sensor, I don't know what the ranges for them all are (except that redstone activation is infinite range)

Not without changing the way tiers work, sorry. Only way I can think to do it is to replace the tier array with a function that supports that kind of thing. Remember, tiers were made long before metablocks existed, so I never took them into account when I designed them. I do hope to overhaul that sometime in the future, but it certainly isn't easy.

I think it would be good to have meta data taken into account, for the mossy cobblestone and cracked cobblestone mentioned above. I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement, but I know in other addons use the format ID:MetaData so for example 35:15 for black wool, or something. This way you have a way to get the info in a text file, and I'm pretty sure you have meta data handling from the game data for rune designs or signature blocks, how do you handle it for that?
As for colored wool in runes I would think having 15 more different blocks for rune building would be nice. White wool is common enough not to worry that you can't find the right colored wool. And maybe there can be an option for some runes where you can ignore meta data if you wish, so you can handle legacy runes.
School's been tough lately, I'll try and update over the weekend. Just wanted you guys to know I'm still alive but can't really work right now.

Ok this may have been answered already but pardon me if i dont read 281 pages of posts to find an answer. I am having a problem with the chrono trigger, Any idea why it is not working. I am building it in creative mode on top of a faith island. I have followed your video's Ctri to the T but for some reason it doesnt even give me any error messages. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

people having issues to get the Chrono Trigger working MOSTLY make following things wrong - in order of quantity:
1. The Gold Blocks are NOT facing / pointing towards North (which they must) - or
2. They have some blocks ABOVE the Chrono Trigger, but it "must see the sun" - But in that case usually the error message "The sun cannot see your rune" would show up. - or
3. They haven't built the Chrono Trigger high enough. It was "around cloud level" in old Minecraft days, but as they raised now the cloud level, I advice to build the Chrono Trigger at around layer 110 - but as far as I remember I already saw one working at around layer 101. If you build it around layer 110, it should be safe. - or
4. They forget the 2nd iron block of the 2 block "iron stalk" - or
5. They arranged the Gold and Obsidian Blocks mirrored.
These are the 5 most common errors people are making with this rune - have been on a Runecraft server before with alot of people requesting my help for it didn't work.
So these are my personal experiences so far with this rune.

Thank you for the help. I am although building it on a faith island that is only a few blocks from the clouds, And i am actually doing all 5 of those correct. Thats where im stuck.

Most likely there is something distorting the rune's pattern, make sure there aren't any T1+ blocks in the blank spaces of the rune's pattern (especially around the iron spike). multiple Redstone pieces will cause this effect as well, I believe; been a while since I've had to use a chrono
Thats the thing ive followed your video to the T about the chrono trigger. Its pointing north there is just air surrounding the spike. When you say the gold must face the north you do mean the 3 have to be north and that 4th gold block needs to be to the west correct?
P.s. How do i put items into a post like Meriii did?
Notch recently re-defined where 'north' is in Minecraft. I think that the Chrono Trigger still uses the old north.
Ok now THAT makes sence. So the compass rune is also not pointing the correct way then? Cuz that is how i was finding north.

I Found the correct orientation It has to be turned once counter-clockwise to work.
The Compass rune was changed to new north (you can adjust it in config.yml in the Bukkit version) as are the Teleporter runes. But I forgot to change the Chrono Trigger as well.
Any idea what other runes need to be changed?
That is the only thing i have seen as of now but i have only been runecrafting for about a week. Im having fun with phase blocks and lock blocks and the faith island. I havent done much else besides some of the tool ones and magic beacon. But if I come across one that needs to be changed how should i get ahold of you?
I made another rune for the next update. Not going to say anything about it yet. Need to come up with some other stuff too, first.
