A smooth, simplistic Texture Pack with the intent of making simple look sophisticated!
Calibur nXt Craft is a Texture Pack which i made back in 1.4 to Test an art style. I have tried to revive it, but instead I reinvented it! Please give constructive feedback as I would like this pack to become a pack FOR the players.

It looks great, but the stone seems to bug me that it's too easy to tell each block apart. Your ores look like they are painted onto the rock, and the oak leaves have a tiling error. The water is also too easy to separate, it forms lines of water in the screenshots you have provided. The grass has this same problem on top.

Thank you for the feedback. In future updates ill fix this. However, the tile-y textures are actually the way that they are supposed to be. Ill fix soon. Thanks again!
Very, very interesting. I agree with MaNgAkA_fReAk about the textures, they look too separate and the ore needs some work. The ice needs some major work to it, it looks too dark. I would add a bit of light and a foggyness to it. I would also change the anvil, it seems to childish to me. If you want players to be involved in your work, then you have to make it mature, otherwise your pretty much making a texture pack for an 8 year old (unless that's your goal). The textures are nice and unique, your have brought ovals and irregular shapes to the minecraft world, just like sphax introduced pentagons to the minecraft world. I like your work, I can't wait to see more!

Thank you Rockit! I appriciate your feedback! When My next update rolls around, ill make sure to remember your suggestions!
I like the overall style, it's very cute! However, I do have a couple beefs. Most of the textures lack any lighting or shading, and when it is there, it's inconsistent. Adding a few highlights and shadows to show shape and depth could really help you out here. Tiling is another big issue. The textures fit together perfectly, but many of them have a very obvious repeating pattern, which is undesirable. Also, I'm not a fan of the hard, square ends on the lines. If they were more tapered or angled, it wouldn't seem as... line-tooley.

But otherwise, it looks really nice!
I love teh wunderful Feedback!!!!!!! Thank you for the ideas. I understand most people do not like the unseamless textures... Understand. Next update, ill work on getting those textures more unpatterney... ey. But, about the lines, I actually do perfer them being straight. I wanted my pack to be geometrical mostly, although it does look more toolish. Understand your not liking that. By the way, if you have any pointers on how to get my textures a little more seamless, please post them! This is an alpha thread, anyway.

Making an image that is three times the length and width of your texture, and then tiling the texture in a 3x3 grid is a good way to spot pattern errors before you even go in-game.
