Truth be told 13th... your pack kinda.... makes mindcraft... force default for me... as it does as a failsafe when a system cant handle a packs contents/res.... :/
So I think you're hitting your limit to where only beefy systems can start to handle it.

Force default... i ran into that exact issue too. Is your 64 bit java up to date? If you only have a 32 bit version, my pack will definately overload it. Most modern computers do have a 64 bit OS and can support 64 bit java, but browsers usually only use the 32 bit version.
Look into it, it might help.
What i'm worried about causing is GPU lag, but if minecraft is forcing vanilla for you, then it's probably running out of memory. If you have 64 bit java you can allocate more ram to minecraft, which i assume helps with texture caching, In the launcher go to 'edit profile' and check 'JVM Arguments'. In the option box for that it will say somthing like 'xmx1g'. Change the '1' in that to the amount of ram you can spare, and it will keep minecraft from running out of memory. I use 2gb with my pack.
If minecraft crashes after you change that, then you either don't actually have more than 2gb of ram, or your 64 bit java needs an update.
The java auto installer thing only updates the 32 bit version by the way, so if you never updated the 64 bit version manually, that's probably it.
Honestly, the world there is really looking like an oreo with your really dark brown dirt and light white stone, I really don't like it. Doesn't look natural IMO, maybe as Diorite, but not regular stone....
Andesite. Since i was too lazy to google what andesite actually is, i made it a clumpy yellow rock.
I was thinking earlier:
I'm an artist,
Not a geologist!
Although in my head I screamed it like Samuel L. Jackson.....
I mean granite? Fine. Diorite and Andesite, I've never heard of and can barely remember..... and I've been thinking of "Andesite" as "Adensite" (pronounced Ah-denz-ite) just because it sounds much better, ugh. Only now did I realize that it wasn't spelled/said like that.....

I have 4gb of ram and my 64bit java is up to date, and I alocate 2064MB to minecraft.
But my system is currently looking at your pack and going
By the way... has anyone gotten the idea to go into your language files, change the names of the new stones and make a texture for it? Instead of you know... forcing to make granite, diorite and andesite? ^.-

I'm having no problems with your pack, and I don't have that beefy of a computer. I think I will compare your pack to another 64x pack in a bit to see how the performance differs. Will edit with results
I appreciate it. I've been trying to find a way to get some actual numbers. I can get an idea of the RAM usage from f3 stats, but i'm still trying to find something that can tell me something about GPU strain.
Just did some quick tests, I don't know how accurate they are, but it appears to use the same amount of my GPU power as Chroma Hills, although it performed considerably worse.
EDIT: May I note that this is not in fullscreen and as such I normally get higher fps than this, I don't think I could use Broken Anarchism at all if I got less than 30 fps xD
Perhaps i'll release a light version of my pack, in that case. One with ctm removed.

Yeah haha, I was thinking of completely redoing the textures because to me the damage has been done, and since I textured them months ago. I personally like the contrast b/w the stone and dirt, but I'm definitely going to lower it alot to give it a more natural look. Overall, I'm aiming for a pack with really rich colors that contrast at the right points
So I haven't really been doing to much lately. Maybe I will get around to doing my 64x pack seeing as I am having trouble doing pixel art, but it is still fun trying out something different. In the mean time I did the jungle stuff for it and was considering releasing a WIP thread for it soon. There is still much to be done with it, and a lot of textures to change that I don't like. I was even thinking about making changes to my pallet, but I am scared to seeing how much work I have done with it already. Anyways, here is a screen shot of the jungle textures.
Wait so is there somewhere specific for me to post an 'application'
Just post it in the thread. Sometimes applications do get lost in the thread though, so it may take multiple tries. Quote this post when you apply, so it will send me a notification.
I don't understand what you dislike about the slider so much. In my opinion, the "painted" part makes it look more shaded and interesting.
Well....
I don't like it because there's an extreme difference right in the middle.I like how the old/current one looks much more.

I'm not going to use it anyways, because of the slider deriving from it :/

Well how good is your GPU?
I've been here for a loooooooooong time.

You should post the pack on this forum.

Nope, just post on this thread. As long as you followed all the guidelines in the OP, an admin should get back to you soon.
