I have textures made up for all the new 1.7 blocks now (yay!). However, I cannot, for the life of me, find a Mesa or Mega Taiga, so I can actually see what the things look like in the wild. Does anyone know of any seeds with these biomes near spawn?

For Mega Taiga: 123456789
Mesa: -8452786985455024093
For the mesa one, just go forward and to the left across the lake type thing you spawn in front of.
Priest - The insane leader and sole member of the local cult. The straight jacket is for his own protection moreso than that of the others. He has a pink tutu, snail print pants, combat boots, and a mint green gas mask with plastic googly eyes stuck to it.
Smith - Very basic clothing for this one, along with a leather apron and a metal gasmask.
Librarian - He's got a sweatervest, a bowtie, and flip-up reading glasses on his gasmask. On this one the nose is a hose type thing with a filter on the end.
Farmer - Strangely well dressed for someone in his profession.
Butcher - I gave him a trench coat because i figured out that i could. I realize he doesn't have the traditional butcher look, but i think it works. He's the kind of guy that you find in a dirty alley way looking to sell you his meat.
Well now, i've been working for 14 hours solid now, and only did 4 of these today. The first one was yesterday. I am amazingly slow. Time for sleeping.
How do I CTM? Is there a full release of MCPatcher for 1.7.2? Also, -snip- Q: Which resolution should Nemo 3 be: 128 256 512 I could also do 1024 but I don't see the need at all.
OMG That is beautiful
I go for 128, but if you were to resize it to 64, I would use that. 256 should be your maximum.

Ah yes. Slant. Frankly, I felt it was more of an experiment than a real pack. Although... if anyone wants to continue it, be my guest. not that anyone will...
[sarcasm]Yeah, I bet everyone here would hate you for life if you released it.[/sarcasm]
Anyway, the reason that I wanted to make a gif was because I made a diamond sword following my own custom palette, and I saved every frame of editting just in case.
Sorry about the size, I'll zoom in a bit more next time.
To be fair, villagers look suspiciously squidward-like to begin with.
True, but the smith has those particular eyes, and wrinkles on the forehead, and those bars attached look like they form a mouth...
As for the priest, it looks more like there is a blue person inside than eyes stuck onto a blue screen.

13th, wherer do you get all these ideas? I just burst out laughing when I saw the priest.
I just figure them out as i go along, i guess. I had some basic ideas already, and just added onto them. That one started out with just the straight jacket and i built on that.

I realize that, so that's why i stuck a bunch more eyes to the sides and back of the head, it really helps to show that they're attached to the outside rather than part of the villager.
Not to mention the fact that all of the eyes in my pack are much more realistic, so these certainly look out of place by comparison.
hey guys, i got inspired and made a new cobblestone texture for my pack:
here is the same texture but zoom-ed
snip
and finally zoom-ed(<---is that the right way to write it?) and tiled
snip
PD: just a wip, i will change the spaces inbetwen every rock
If it's supposed to be stone... what's up with those colors? It looks like you used a dollar bill as your palette.
Working on designing a logo for my pack, which I'm quite heavilly reworking (and re-naming)... how does it look?
Tried to make it fairly original, but I'm sorta worried about it looking too much like some other well-known logo that I didn't think of...
Right, right. I probably should have seen that coming, but whatever.
@Zamaj
Oh, fine. I guess I'm not good. *poutyface*
I don't really count myself in the greats anyway, so.. :3
@Sam
'Tis a shame Slant never became a proper thing.

Thankies!
Here, have some screenies if you like:
not that anyone will...

Final result:
Oh wow, they look amazing. The smith looks like some sort of mecha-squidward.

Yes I see the lightning issue again on the cracked stone.
Also any word on the new colormap for 1.7 biomes? Cannot use mine currently because I get black dirt.

yeah, i know but i wanted to add some colour, i should have used brown instead of dark green...
the logo looks great but it reminds me of mercedes benz logo
It looks very flat.
