@Samiboula
Well, apparently people still like Desque.* I remember people being mad at me about that a long time ago, too XP
Samiboula again, maybe have some more hue shifting in those bricks, like with the mortar
*Don't post in that topic. It's dead. Over a year now. Maybe I should start up a new non-pixel art pack, though... Anyone be interested in that? It's been so long... might be fun!

See, I would join, but it'd mean that I have to have something downloadable (which I don't). I need to get to doing some serious texturing.

Soo.. the download I put up before restoring my computer would qualify me for joining? Cause if so, I need to work on that.
End sky texture. There's not much visible detail, but that's the way I want it to be. It makes the End feel more like a void.
In-game:
In regards to the whole discussion about changing the union name to something like "resource artists," a name change is completely unnecessary. Resource packs include sounds, music, languages, and credits, and they may be expanded/replaced by the mod API, which means they could eventually include every edit or addition to the Minecraft experience. Seeing as how this union is dedicated to textures and has been since its beginning, it should probably stay that way; a better focus on one aspect of the content creation process (in this case, texturing) results in more discussion and greater improvement on that aspect. This is one of the reasons why specialization exists.
Instead, additional unions can be established if things such as custom sound effect production becomes more popular and thus more susceptible to the theft of intellectual property.
Also, this isn't called the "Texture Pack Artists' Union" or "Texture Pack Union," so the changing of texture packs to resource packs has absolutely no effect on the union's name.
No..... maybe... IDK....Joking Of course i'm not this is the way I am workink before i resize them to 128x

That's my total numbers of downloads on Real Photo Realism my texture pack (first and the last(until now) what do you say about it?
It was one of the first texture packs on monthly and total downloads actually , to be more precise it was the second after OCD.
Shall I continue this ?
My heart says YES but my head says no....
My brain and wish to vicariously live through someone who could make lots of money through Curse rewards says yes do it. But my wallet and its empty spiteful jealousy of you says no. Take it down. Immediately.
No clue if this is the place for such questions... But I kinda had a random idea. My comp can't really handle constant play on some of the 1k+ resolution texture packs, but I'm generally fine with that because the terrain looks really weird in these "photo-realism" styles.
But, I was wondering if anyone has ever done super-HD mobs? Or knows a pack with some good ones I could use? (A lot of photo-realism packs don't actually seem to have retextured mobs...)
I think it would be cool to play with the default terrain, but high resolutions mobs. (Or at least try to)

Wait, there's a joke?
I like those a lot more.

Yes, cool shading.
Like, that's cool.
I have no idea how you would make an axe in 8x, but you really shouldn't use outlines in that small of a resolution, makes the tools look fat

Apples, diamond, wooden sword and shovel.

Just putting in my two cents.
and zoomed:
I am astonished that you can actually get detail onto something that small. Very cool.
I made some workbenches today. Getting back into texturing now that my customizer is at least stable.
I agree with thistle, really great detail you're putting in for such a small space! Liking the colours too, very nice.
They look great, really liking the colour and texture of the wood on the second one in particular. Looks awesome!
Crazy amount of detail on that manuscript as well, what res are the textures?

I can't make blocks though. xD Only items. And those look good, by the way.

I've always liked vonDoom's mobs.
I had thought about them, but they feel too stylized. (They're AWESOME, but wouldn't really look right outside the pack itself)
I'm looking for Mobs you would expect to see in a photo-realism pack, if photo-realism packs ever did mobs...
No more hardcoded "crafting" text in the inventory gui! YES!
Also, colors work:
