Smooth is the intent of my pack. I wanted to use the number of pixels, not to make grainy hyper-realism, but to make it nice and smooth. I don't want bucket fills, and I'm not trying to make everything insanely subtle, but I am trying not to have sharp, unappealing edges, and I'm trying to keep a but of a clean feel.

I spent my last 2 years in a forum about a game which is now completely ed up, because the developers didn't listen to the players.
Was visiting this one every few days since a year though and finally made an account a few weeks ago.
corner_g, I love those logs, that's just how I was planning to do mine.
... For some reason I think of WoW when you say that.
Hey guys Havin a brain fart here, Which way am I suppose to move this strip?
Pleeeez herp me! Im a too a stoopid to fickure it out myself
P.s I need sleep -.-
I wanna say to the right but need others to agree so I don't waste anytime animating the whole thing.
Yeah, make it follow the direction of the red arrow. The Blue one would make sense if you spent all your time in the Nether.
Not really gonna talk about my first bit here like the rest of ya, since it was basically a small slice of HELL. Though I've been lurking this site since Doku launched his pack c:
my horrible process:
move strip right 32px
cut away excess strip
change hue and saturation of gem +3Sat, -5Hue each time when gem changing, then vice versa
save as png 1,2,3 etc (64 total)
Undo strip cut
Rinse, Repeat. until I reached the sun again.
Well, What do you guys think?

Lots of march 2011 people here. creepy.
Wonder how accurate the info is though.
Challenge: see how long you can stare at it without getting dizzy, lol!
Ok, what about when you joined TAU. I joined on the 3rd of September 2011. I remember I only joined because Northener did. Fun times!
Jeez. I was crap-late to join. I didn't think I was well-known enough or skilled enough to be a part of it. I submitted my application on the 4th of December 2012, here.
... Hey, wait. I joined on my 15th birthday!

Having a CTM issue for 1.4.7. I'm trying to get the carved sandstone and smooth sandstone to have their own custom top/bottom faces, but nothing is happening. Here's the properties file for the carved sandstone:
Title: terrain229.properties
source=/ctm/random.png
method=fixed
tiles=64
faces= top bottom
EDIT: Nvm, I figured it out. It needed to be titled 'block24' with a line reading 'metadata=1' to specify the carved version of sandstone.

Do you have that space after faces= in the .properties file? I don't know if that would cause a problem.

I have a question. How do people here recommend embedding ores? I've tried it a bunch of different ways, and they've all looked kinda stupid.
Edit: ... BEST IDEA EVER. World of Warcraft texture pack. Using fancy biome textures to make it look like different races in different areas. Human on the plains. Night Elves in forests. Trolls in jungles. Dwarves in snowy biomes. Orcs in deserts. And then I'd have to find one to suit mountains.
@#4
I haven't. I still have no released packs. A couple old threads, but never a download. Sorry.
@Vinny
I actually like those random CTM top-slabs, mostly because most of them look so similar. You should get rid of the non-similar one.
Maces are far more round. It looks more like a fat, ineffective spear than anything.
You need to do something with the moss around the missing bricks.

I know that feel.
Nice little avatar addition, by the way.

It looks good!
Another idea would be for it to fade into the different time graphics, instead.
Oh, and the lighting looks better now, but the black line seems too dark.

CTM'd Slab Tops
A Mace (Stone Sword), as well as the HUD (With a Fallout-ish EXP Bar)
And CTM'd Mossy Cobble, to help fit with the Normal CTM'd Cobble
Make the lighter part of the embedding on the right hand side, and the darker part on the left.
Like this, for example:

Awesome stuff!
But... is the first thing a barrel?
Love it!
Beautiful
Yus.
A Barrel for a Sponge, or a Barrel for a Cauldron?
Yes, I know there is a tiling error with the stone.
I also know that the top of the lapis is messed up.
