So...
I've been away for a good 5 months or so. Finally got out of my situation and am excited to see so many new faces and improvement in people who were here when I was here.
Anyhow, Greenbean and I have attempted to try and make a 24x tecture pack by communicating via skype.
Here is what we have so far:
Dirt, Grass, Diamond and Coal ore.
Our color pallette so far.
Stone and work in progress wood.
Thoughts?
Looks fantastic! Really digging that palette as well. The only thing I don't really like is the wood. It's mainly the color, it seems rather dull.
This is dedicated to Ilikegaming for doubting my shading ability
Is it supposed to be unshaded on purpose?
Anyway, I looked at Epiclink Style for the first time in forever and it looks a lot better than I remember it. I've been losing interest in 16x Kingdom, and I'm wondering if I should restart Epiclink Style, (Only better, of course.) or make some other sort of bright 32x filtered pack.
It's acceptable in my eyes. With the style of the other textures, in that screenshot at least, it maintains a solid theme and looks nice beside other blocks.
What do you guys think of my new colour synchronised banner? Better or worse.
It looks nice, but I find myself wanting to read all three together. Perhaps if you made each there own box and separated them a bit.... I don't know, it's your signature.

I have no idea who you are (I'm new here :P)
But these are utterly FANTASTIC
I want to see it tiled personally. I have quite a soft spot for the top soil thing it has going on.
Also, I wonder who will have the honor of getting the 1337 page.
I ran into a topic here on MCF that contains a multitude of textures I remember from various other packs.
The topic creator has denied partaking in theft of works of art. Since I cannot place any of these specifically,* I ask that the members of TAU check. Topic link
*The pumpkins I can so nearly place, but I forgot the name of both the pack they are from, and the pack creator's name. The melons are clearly from a Photorealistic pack.
------
@HappyTinkles, that stone is one of the most delicious things I've seen, as well as the dirt. Though, the dirt seems a bit more detailed than stone. Also, I'm not sure how well either of them will tesselate. Care to show a 3x3?
------
@Peytonisgreat, I like the right one more, personally, assuming it tiles.

It's always annoying to see people who do that sort of thing, no?

Hows this grass? (now got three different kinds)

There's yet more to come!

That grass is looking better, and I don\t notice any tiling errors on it. though I do agree that the dirt needs to look a bit more brown.

First one definitely
Left one, definitely.
The right one's got that odd space
near the top
I have no idea who you are (I'm new here :P)

I agree. The soft spot looks out of place...
I actually like the second one better- it seems less generic and I like the less clumpy line.
I'm just sorta worried about tiling errors...
Also, I wonder who will have the honor of getting the 1337 page.

I see........
Well, enjoy
Well... I think it was an interesting reply... That's all I can say.
Well, investigation was a success! I'm back to working on my pig... Texture...

edit--
Got me a page folks. And in the name of this 1337 page all textures will be 1337!
(sorry got carried away and damn thing don't wanna let go)
Anyway, improved my cobblestone a little. If I do use it, I'm definitely using ctm to clean up some tiling errors.
Should've fixed the problems with contrast and such.

Looks utterly fantastic, but it seems more like it would be a better stone to me...
Also, wood!
Also, I fixed the little blob of dark grey in the top right of the cobble, though not shown in this image.
