So I'm working on my pack, and I'm trying to make mossy stone bricks into a randomized path block.
It works fine when I color it to a specific biome (my grass is standard: grey and uses a biome map). However, this means that when I try to place the blocks in a different biome, it doesn't work out well. See pictures below for details. Any ideas on how to fix this?
What biome is the first pic? If we assume it's Savannah, just add
biomes=Savannah
To your ctm file. You will have to make a different texture for every biome! o.O wow! It looks awesome though!
I was afraid I'd have to do that. I got the idea to do this with the block from Conquest (Monsterfisher did a similar thing with his stone brick texture). Only thing is, for some reason, his works fine in all biomes (yes I checked, he also uses a grey grass texture and a regular old biome map).
EDIT: No wait, his doesn't work properly in all biomes either (same problem as me). Alright, guess I'll have to designate different CTM files for each biome.
I believe so. You would just need to have a 32x32 image and CTM that like a double res one. I need to check, though leaves with their different opaque and transparent states work.

Either that or "disable" biome grass coloring, i.e. fill the grass biome map with the same color everywhere, so all biomes are the same.
