I just took an actual look in the nether.
If you find a better texture for the soul sand,You have my support to fully release it as an actual working and good nether texture pack
I know it was bad. I'll go change it. All I really did was add filters and effects. Not much work really.
I was really bored today.
So I actually tried to compile this (Almost a year later!)
Considering the HUGE(kinda big) amount of textures per block, I couldn't do as originally planned, aka "Each block has random textures etc. etc." There are SOOOOO many blocks, and I don't have the patience to go through all of them. Not only that, but 100% of the textures were not in 1.6 format; some were in Pre-1.5, others 1.5 and some were just random pics. I included just enough to get the idea across.
