Thanks you everyone a lot . I'm starting to think that maybe i should actually finish this and even make all the GUI's and mobs eventually with this palette, i kinda like it after using it for a while. Might take a while, weeks, months, and with the pace i usually work at probably 2-3 years. But i have a couple of weeks off from work before my school starts, so i should get something done in this time.

I kinda wish the middle top block was extended downwards one more pixel though, the gap there just seems a little TOO big and would get really annoying in-game without some CTM.

It's too late for me to participate in the challenge, and I'm busy with another pack atm, but I've always been interested in limited palette challenges, so I drew up some 16x textures using DB32...
Cobblestone:
Diamond Block: (I really like how this one turned out!)
I'm so tempted to try and replicate this pack from what you previously posted. Great job! Really really want to play with. Can't express my contentment in words.
Only a couple concerns, not trying to be rude but helpful.T o be honest, they don't really matter. 1st, the bookcases tile a bit badly, but if you're going to use that random texture thing on them, it won't matter. 2nd, the glass, while it may look great for small little windows like that, it may not look great on glass heavy builds. Its a bit of controversial question in my experience with texturepacks, but something to keep in mind. Like I said not big deals and I would definitely play with it anyways. Really, the first two pics don't even look like they are from minecraft. I'm so excited. Up there with my favourtite pixel art ever.
Yes, please release it!
I would love to play with it.
This is my progress so far (of the blocks, that is. I have done other things too)
And, yes, the jungle planks are bamboo.
That is the most amazing cobble I have ever seen. The use of those colors are amazing!

Thanks guys, I'll see what I can do!
I want to try so badly... I just don't want to have to learn the new 1.6 texture system because lazy
This has to be my fav...

Diamond Block: (I really like how this one turned out!)
And Stone Brick:
That is, without a doubt, one of the greatest texture packs ever made.
Any ETA on completion? I NEED this.

Here's a big compilation image with everything I've done so far.
