Textures will now begin to count how many times they're downloaded. We're going to create an interface for seeing which of your textures are the most popular in your pack.
You don't have to mix in the fav customizer with just 32x and 32x. You can mix between ALL resolutions and download the pack at whichever res you want.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean it'll look good mixed.
We will soon be implementing New and Noteworthy packs and/or Rando-Awesome pack of the day. The site is getting kind of stale with the same packs showing up. It needs FRESHNESSS!!!!!
Lovely! Just make sure it's on the front page. I have no reason to visit the front page and I'd like for that to change.

Bangin. Does this mean we'll get partial downloads added to the total count after all?
Enable the "allow download at lower resolutions" option on the edit page.
I wondered about that. I wasn't sure if it would allow me to upload lower resolution textures, or just automatically rescale the ones I have at the moment. I'll look into it.
The browse section is really annoying. Using Javascript that way completely breaks usability and simple things like bookmarking and back/forward.
The reason we did it that way is because I HATE having to reload the entire page just to see a change in content for a small portion. Also, I don't see a reasonable use for bookmarking a page in browse.

I guess you would have to still scale your lower res up to the higher res that you set your pack to...
Previously, to upload an entire palette of ALT textures, if you had empty spaces in those palettes (say you did not have an ALT grass or something) you would have to include your old/default texture there, making sure every texture space was filled so a blank texture wouldn't get uploaded. Now, blank textures should never get uploaded (at least ones from the multi-texture images such as terrain.png and items.png) so you could upload an alt palette with only a few textures on it, the rest empty, and only those few will get uploaded instead of tons of invisible images for the "missing" textures.
It may be on the front page and perhaps on the very top of every page (just a couple small instances of new/cool pack).
haha....do we really want that?
Well it would encourage packers to allow customization. And I would get decimals in my download count... that's good. But no, it's not the most important thing in the world.
If you're gonna put it on the top of every page you'll have to find a way to make it fit in well. There's not really any space, and shifting everything down would suck.

If not for the fact that I can't go about and demand certain things done; I('d) demand that "Isabella" is featured!
Seriously, it's an amazing (and public) pack, which I've been following for months. Really great textures, with a theme going through, with a texture pack creator who is eager to fulfill many requests: And adds textures the community asks for, swiftly!
Really, if you're looking for new featurizations (that's now a word, mind you), you should definitely check out his pack.
Also worth mentioning is that it seems he made it from around page 4, to the middle of page 1, in less than 24 Hours!
.. Of course, I may be mistaken on that one. That's just what it looks like to me.

Already under way....Kaiassc noticed it today and we contacted the creator a few hours ago.
First of all the site/service is amazing! Thankyou! As a texture pack creator, it is so liberating to be able to make new alternate textures that people will actually use. And to be able to experiment with new textures without having the stress of deciding whether to commit with them or not.
I also wanted to point out a potential bug with the netherrakk. Someone mentioned that no matter what choices they made it was always the default. I checked with my pack and SMP's and this does seem to be the case.
Oh and thanks for the (future) feature :biggrin.gif:
Its on the right hand side of your pack page, just underneath your portrait. Also, if you click detailed view on the browse page, it shows info there.
No, he means the download count of individual textures of his pack- he's right, we haven't created an interface for seeing yet, which we hope to do soon.
Straight off, awesome job on the customizer site, looks professional and works great.
I'd like to echo my support for a "private" option, for those of us who enjoy mixing our own flavour for personal use. I've searched and seen a few other users mention it. Your site offers a few very concrete advantages in this over a download-able executable in the form of cross-platform compatibility and portability.
Edit: I have set my pack to "disabled" and it seems to be private enough.

Wait, let me get this straight..
You first create a Texture Pack, for your own use.
You then upload it to a public website.
Then, you make sure no one but you can see it.
And then you switch textures.
Really, a Texture Pack creator should be able to do that manually, without uploading it. Then again, I may be wrong in what I'm hearing; I just personally think it's a waste of time, and "space" to upload something, if there's only one single person who will benefit from it, while just adding more content to the site, which is obviously un-usable..

I am assuming it is somewhat random? Our future Mass Edit page should somewhat alleviate this issue...
